"Lucas, you take him I got the chick." Devon stated pointing Lucas over to Sterling.
"How come you get the easy one?" Lucas exclaimed disappointedly.
"Privileges of rank." Devon laughed.
Lucas and Devon parted as they approached their targets.
Mojo watched and waited, when they attacked he made his move and blew his wooden needle type object that held a toxin in it that deadened the nerves and started to put someone to sleep. Then he came out of the grass from behind and went towards whom ever was closest to him and charged with his spear.
Rico dodged the incoming spearhead with it narrowly avoiding his left eye. The man immediately lunged at Mojo's torso in order to reduce the distance between the two and eliminate the advantage Mojo had over him.
Mojo dodged to one side and whipped the spear around and whacked the man's backside with a hard thwack of the bottom of the spear on his legs. He tried to knock the man over but his angle was all wrong and it probably simply hurt instead.
Rico recovered from the strike responding with a kick of his own to Mojo's torso.
"Ooohph. You are quite skilled, mon." Mojo did not flashed a grin of white on dark skin at the man instead. He jumped backwards and readied his spear. "But I think, you should surrender." Mojo started to circle the man, slowly his eyes never left Rico's.
"I could say the same for you too." Rico replied smugly before lunging at Mojo.
Mojo side stepped once more. "You have to learn to move faster." he smirked, inside he was not as confident but this was life or death of not only him but many of the crew. a light went off in his head. They were all crew, crew of what he did not have a clue and shoved the thought aside rapidly as Rico lunged again and hit his thigh.
"You have to learn to move faster." Rico said mockingly standing before Mojo with his hands on his hips.
"I guess." Mojo grinned and took his spear and swipe the man's legs out from under him.
Rico jumped the spear shooting Mojo a sly smile before kicking him in the torso. Another goon soon ran in joining the tussle.
Two against one was not odds that Mojo liked. He felt like he would be killed and he certainly did not want to die this day or any other for that matter. He rolled away and got up into a crouch and tried to defend himself. His leg had blood running down the outside of it and it had begun to sting.
"Had enough?" Rico asked smugly.

Devon rushed Alexandra spearing her to the ground leaving the two in a cloud of dust as they hit. The two combatants struggled to perform various ground submission manuevers but both seemed to have an advanced form of unarmed combat training making it exceedingly difficult for either to gain the upper hand.
Lucas approached Sterling and attempted a roundhouse kick.
Sterling reacted without thinking. Purely instinctually. He dodged backwards and to his right and was almost successful. Rather then take his head off as Lucas had intended the blow caught him just below his right collarbone. It knocked him slightly off balance and stung like hell, but it could have been a lot worse.
Ignoring the pain as best he could he closed the distance betwee he and Lucas and with all the force he could muster aimed an elbow strike at the other man's face.
The elbow connected with Lucas forehead sending him hurling to the ground. He growled at Sterling holding his head. "I'm gonna hurt you some bad son."
With that he lunged at Sterling aiming to spear his gut.
"I'm not your SON!" Sterling shouted as dodged to the side. The spear tore through his shirt, shredding it. It took a big gash out of his side as well. It was painful and drew blood, but at least his guts were still in his body.
He aimed a kick at Lucas intending to disabling him and turning him from a bass to a soprano.
Lucas dropped to his knees and cupped himself and fell over sideways.
Kara slipped up behind one of the men and hit him across the back of his head, knocking him to the ground.
"That wasn't very nice." Marcus said motioning his finger back and forth.
"Neither was killing innocent people," Kara said. She tore a strip off his shirt and used it to tie his hands behind his back so he couldn't use them.
"HEY! Not fair." Marcus whined.
"Since when do you play fair?" she mocked.
Seemingly appearing out of nowhere, Cam walked up behind Kara, "and here I was thinking you'd need my help, oh well"
Kara turned to Cam and grinned. "I always need your help. I can't take them all by myself." For good measure, she tied the man's hands and feet together to make sure he was definitely not going anywhere.
Cam looked around, "yea, I guess you're right, we don't want to hurt these men too much"he said, putting a hand on her shoulder and smiling, "let's see what they've got shall we?"
Kara stood and smiled in return. "Lead the way."
