Mission: What Dreams May Come?
Location: ready Room.

ON

Munich had the head phones with the special soundwaves set closest to the parameters he concluded in the high pitch range to barely be heard with the subliminal signal while the audioable range is one of ocean waves and other relaxation noises.

Commodore..." Munich said as he pressed the chime.

"Come in," Sam said, closing out the report she'd been working on.

Entering the ready room Munich came to her desk and placed the headphones on the desk. "Ma'am, this is the prototype I suggested, the dual range of the sound waves should block outside influences and at the same time produce relaxing sounds. I was told you want to be the first to try it ma'am?"

Sam picked up the headphones and looked them over. "Yes, I did. Can I test them now?"

"PLease." Munich bow and clicked his heels in a military fashion. "I brought Dem as soon as dey were done."

She activated the headphones and put them on. They did, indeed, block out all sounds. In their place, she heard the sound of ocean waves crashing on the beach. She pushed a button and the sound changed to that of a waterfall. The third time it was the sound of wind through the trees with occasional birdsong. She left it on that one and listened to the sounds. "Very good, Lieutenant. Do they block telepathic energy?"

"I believe the wavelength might pass through the range of Telepathy but just like static to a telepathic thought, like jamming static?" He shrugged. "But if one who has not rested can rest with Dose we could pipe the wavelength through the ship perhaps and give many more some... peace?"

"Let's test it on the Marine deck and see how it works there first," Sam said. "Lieutenant Bourne would appreciate the assistance and it will give us a chance to see how it works over the internal comms before sending it ship-wide."

"It would take only a few commands to have that junction transmit the signal through the Intercom system." Munich bow slightly. "It will take your clearances to activate it naturally for the whole deck. The Marines are on their own in a way and the Chief of Communications is not able to issue such a command."

"I can authorize it, but you'd need to get Lieutenant Bourne to sign off on it as well." Sam considered her options for a moment. "You could also try it on deck 9. I can authorize that immediately."

"As you wish Ma'am." Munich clicked his heels together and took his leave to quickly do as he was given permissions to do.
