Cam walked into the Marine Barracks carrying his bag over his shoulder. Taking a deap breath, he took a quick look around. It had been some time since he'd been aboard a starship and now he was here, he was going to make the best of it. As he glanced around, he spotted a man with golden leaves on his collar. As he seemed to be the highest ranked officer here, Cam figured that he was the Marine CO.

Leo looked over to his side, and noted a new NCO. "Lieutenant, we'll continue this later." Leo nodded to the salute as the Lieutenant started running off. "Master Sergeant, how can I help you this evening?"

As the Major walked over to him, Cam snapped to attention, "Sir, Master Sergeant Cameron Bourne, reporting for duty as the new Delta Platoon lead"

"Relax Master Sergeant," Leo said waving his hand. "Since I don't have an XO, you'll be stepping in those shoes. You'll be helping training, arming, armoring, the whole nine."

Cam was shocked, "I'm sorry sir, did you just say you're putting me as your XO?" he asked

"No," Leo said looking at him. "I would never say that." The sarcasm was thick coming off of Leo's voice. "Of course I did Master Sergeant. Clean the patato's out of your ears son."

Cams head spun, this was a big step up from being just a Unit lead. After a moment of thought, he nodded, "Alright, i'll do my best not to let you down"

Leo nodded. "I would hope so Master Sergeant, now get to work, we have a long journey ahead of us."
