Mission: Subjugation

ON:

Leo looked at the side of the bulkhead and shook his head. "Alright Allen, where to?" He had made the jump and stumbled as he landed, not the most graceful but it worked.

"Engineering." He said as he turned on the flashlight to the side of his carbine. "Should be down that way." He started moving off in the direction indicated.

There was almost no power on the ship. Emergency lighting was scant and the place had an abandoned feel to it. Still, there were no signs of violence. The ship appeared more abandoned than damaged.

Maria headed for the science department to see if she could find anything useful. At this point, she wasn't so sure what useful would be, but anything of value or interest at this point wa a good start.

Lizzie walked with her, hoping to find the hydroponics garden and something she could make use of herself. She wasn't too hopeful with the lack of lighting. If environmental controls were off, the plants were most likely dead, but she had to make sure.

Marek followed both Leo and Allen to Engineering, "What's on the to do list?"

Jourdan managed to open the doors of Engineering shortly followed by Marek, Leo and Allen. The room behind was dark and Jourdan could just make out the huge warp core and several consoles.
"Ok" Jourdan said over the radio to the others. "Lets see what's in here. It doesn't look in too bad of a condition" she explained.

Maria and Lizzie walked into the main science lab and began an careful exploration. The equipment was untouched. Most of it was still in its place. A table with a series of test tubes had been cultivating something, but it was dried up now due to the lack of oxygen and gravity.

"I wonder what it was?" LIzzie asked.

"Looks like fungus," Maria said, busy searching through a drawer. "If we get power restored, we can find out for sure in the database. For now, I want to see if there's anything we can use."

"Like the hydroponics lab?" Lizzie asked, giving up on the fungus, looking instead for a directory of some such. that would tell her where the various labs were. If she didn't find one, she'd have to go lab by lab. At least there weren't many.

Leo had his head lamps on while he followed Allen. "Alright Sergeant, let's get what we need and back to the main group. I don't feel safe letting the others roam around. We don't know if theres scavenging operations in the area, well besides ourselves."

Marek looked to his chief. "What's on the need list chief?"

"Find useful stuff" Jourdan explained as she pulled open one of the consoles and started to take out the wires and gelpacks within.

"Alright," Marek said and headed to the first console he came across. He got down on his knees and opened the panel below the console. He saw much that was relatively in good condition and put the kit he was carrying on the floor opened.

The Romulan did take some pleasure in taking things apart a little more then fixing things. Though he did it carefully as residual electrical current could still be around.

Lizzy found hydroponics. Unfortunately, the water system had been shut down at some point and all the water dried up. The plants were dessicated. She sat down in a chair, disappointed. All the plants on the ship were dead. The computers were dead -- unless Maria found a way to get them power. For her, this was a fruitless trip.

After several minutes she began a search of the room in case she missed anything. A ten minute search proved she didn't. Cutting her losses, she headed back to the rendezvous point.

Maria, on the other hand, found some notes in a ledgeer. It wasn't much, but it documented some of the experiments the crew was working on when they were taken. And where they came from. Tucking the ledger in her bag, she, too, headed for the rendezvous point.

The others arrived shortly after. "Nothing much here. I hope the next stop is more productive," Maria said, sighing. "This one was fruitless for us."

Two by two, the group make the jump back to the shuttle so they could slowly make their way to the next ship.
