Mission: Subjugation

Jourdan and some other officers pulled open the doors to the shuttlebay. Sat infront of them were two type six shuttles. The main door of the shuttlebay was still closed tight and some debris blocked the opening mechanisms.
"Ah now that could be a problem" she said. "The shuttles seem alright, but that debris will stop us from getting out" she explained.
"Anyone got any suggestions on how to get rid of it?"

Maddison scanned the debris. Fire damaged wires, and consoles. Nothing repairable. She hefted her phaser rifle. Reset the settings, and fired. And again. And again. And again. And again. And again. Shaking her head, she nodded. "That should be good. Now, when we decompress the bay, the debris should just float out in to space. Anyone watching will think that it just blew open on it's own, because the debris will drift off." She looked from at Jourdan. "How's that sound for a suggestion?"

"Good" Jourdan said. "All aboard. We'll launch first with the debris. When we've launched, bring up some wreckage from other areas of the ship and decrompress the bay again. Keep your power levels low and stay out of trouble" she explained "This way any one scanning us will just think that this ship is simply breaking apart and the launches from the shuttlebay are just the emergency forcefields failing" Jourdan explained.

It didn't take very long for Marek to get worried about the possibilities of the situation becoming horribly bad. Yet he had faith in his superior to know what she was doing. "What about our life signs? Won't they be picked up upon our leaving the ship?" The Romulan asked.

"We'll harvest some of the plants that they've been cultivating that block sensors," Patrick said, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes as he came into the room. "Not enough to put the ship at risk, but enough to dampen the life signs. Since the distances aren't great, we should maneuver with the RCS thrusters at lowest power, not power the engines at all."

"That's what I'm here for," LIzzie said. "To ensure the plants are harvested properly and that you have the proper amount for the job."

"Okay all the bases are covered let's get going." Marek announced with more confidence in this plan.

"Okay, where do you want me?" Maria asked.

"In the bloody shuttle. You can figure out who's going where, once we're all aboard." Maddison said. "And if you are likely to get ill, if I make awkward turns, we don't have power available for inertial dampeners, as they'll show on scanners. So throw up now. Outside the shuttle. Where the vacuum will catch it, when we decompress the bay."

Maria gave Maddison a scathing look before walking onto the shuttle. She had no idea who the woman was, but she didn't like her.

"I guess that's me too, If we're going to find what we need safely, and in proper working order..." Patrick sighed. He suspected they had purposely let him sleep, after many weeks of two or three hours of sleep a day, he'd crashed out for almost 8 hours without waking. It was likely his own fault for locking out those damnable sprinklers...

"At least you're sane," Maria said as an aside to Patrick. She cast a meaningful glance towards Maddison so there would be no doubt to whom she was referring.

"Sane is a strong word." Allen said as he walked up to the group, tools in hand. "If anyone here is sane they are making the rest of us look bad."

Maria turned and eyed Allen for a moment. "Sane is relative. Compared to that fish, we're all sane."

"Let's not forget who is flying this thing for a moment, kay? I would save the insults for later." Allen said as he took a seat. "As it is i'm not so comfortable with the notion of going over to another dead ship let alone the ride to get there."

"You're fond of fish?" Maria asked cheekily.

"Can we get going?" Marek asked impatiently.

Maria grinned. "Ask the fish-lover." But before that could happen, the shuttle launched and the team was off.
