Ronnie slipped past a group of workers chatting about nothing in particular as a guard was close by.
It didn't matter as she was strolling casually through the green zone keeping her eye out for members of the Calypso.
For Sam she was looking for Damon, but for herself she hoped to see Damion. She hadn't seen him since their last meeting in his quarters on the Von Braun just before they were attacked.
Ronnie wasn't sure if either man were still alive, but Sam refused to accept that there was even a possibility. Sam frequently told her she felt Damon's presence, but so far Ronnie, who went out every day after the evening meal, had seen nothing to give them hope.
Damion, or Johnny as he was now known as, walked with Hur'Rak and his group. He had on a raggedy pair of clothes and a cloak draped over his head, shadowing his face. He mainly kept to himself, quiet until he was called upon. He was too busy trying to figure out the mess in his head. None of this felt right to him, but he went along with it because it seemed safer.
Hur'Rak made his way towards his next area, shoving one person aside and another into a wall. He laughed as the last tried to fight back, but the over bearing Klingon laughed and then shoved him back to the wall and held him there. "Feisty! I like em, Feisty!. Johnny, deal with him!"
Damion walked out from the small group and looked over. He put his hand on the hood of his cloak and pulled it back. His hair was slicked back and tied into a tight ponytail. His stare was slightly cold as he grow a slightly sinister smile. With one quick motion he grabbed the man by the throat and lifted him slightly. The man was practically on his tip toes as Damion took a step closer to him and whispered. "Did you know, my hands are in the best positions to cut off your oxygen flow? I could kill you right now, without even breaking a sweat. Have you made you peace?" Even the tone of his voice seemed different. Emotionless with almost a hint of darkness to it.
Ronnie saw the scuffle and was considering if she dared tell them to knock it off or not when one man removed the hood of his cloak. "Damion?" It looked like him, but he seemed ... different. Cold and emotionless. "Damion, is that you?" She asked again, walking closer to the group.
Damion looked over to Ronnie, whom he didn't even recognize in his current state. He lowered the man from the wall, but didn't let go of his throat. Hur'Rak took a step to Ronnie, smiling so sinisterly, and grabbed her by the wrists. "Your getting into something you should be, Girly. So how about you walk away and not look back? Wouldn't want something to happen to that pretty face of yours."
She was sure it was Damion, but he looked at her as if she were a stranger. "Damion, it's me. Ronnie." She ignored the Klingon, hoping he would leave her alone, too.
"I said, Girlie. Walk away." Hur'Rak pushed her away slightly.
Damion just stood there, staring at her with a slightly tilted head. It was like he was trying to place her, but just couldn't seem to. He looked back to the man against the wall and brought his fist back and laid into him, punching him hard and strong. The man was thrown to the ground holding his face and groaning in pain.
Ronnie was horrified at Damion's actions. She turned to Hur'Rak. "What did you do to him?" She never did like bullies. Even here she found them loathsome.
"Did to whom? Johnny?" Hur'Rak looked over to Damion and then back to Ronnie. "He's grade A, high class mean. No substitutions." He laughed, as well as the other members of the group, minus Damion. Damion just looked on, looking a Ronnie with a slightly curious look. She didn't know him, or at least he thought she didn't. Who was Damion. For some reason, the name sounded familiar, but he didn't know why. And her eyes. Something about her eyes. Damion slowly brought his hands back and pulled his hood back up. He looked down at the man and then gave him one final kick to the chest, causing him to gasp to catch his breath, knocking the wind slightly out of him.
"Johnny? So you took his name and his memories?" Ronnie asked, looking between Hur'Rak and Damion. She wanted to slap them both for their attitudes and actions, but knew it would only end badly.
"You're feisty. I like feisty." Hur'Rak grabbed her by her shoulders and pushed her against the wall, getting closer to her. Damion just stood there and watched. He walked away a bit and then stopped. He turned again and looked back toward Ronnie. Something about her was pulling him in. Something familiar about her that he couldn't quiet put his finger on.
She glared at Hur'Rak. "Back off." She slowly moved her hand to where her knife hid, careful not to draw attention to her action.
Hur'Rak laughed, ending it in a devilish smile. "Make me!"
