Mission:
The Race for the Lost Treasure
Location: Intel
He sat there at his desk facing his display screen. Damion leaned back slightly as he began to prepare for an encrypted message. He began to type in the code, which prepared the room for the call. The lights dimmed and the entire room was shielded from other transmissions. He completed the call as the secure line was made and was hoping that the Admiral wasn't on her notorious throne.
"Mister Wolfe, so my receptionist says." Admiral Ongaku-Chi said, noting his apparently discomforted manner. "Not to worry. Not to worry. Others have made use of my services for personal purposes before. What is it you need, and explain why. I'll tell you what it's likely to cost."
"I'm sending you my clearance code and authorization, Admiral. This line is completely secured as protocol insists." Damion hit at the console and sent her the codes as the Starfleet Intelligence Corp instructs them. "Codename: Shadow Wolf... Security code: Beta Lawrence Omega Omega Delta Beta Alpha Theta Halo... Passcode: Bela Noite, Victoria... Awaiting acknowledgement."
"Silly little boy. The channel is already secured. But sure, to humor you, I'll acknowledge your code." Ongaku-Chi said. "Now, if you could kindly come to a point, or forgive me for a few minutes, I do try and keep these conversations short."
"I'm look for an agent, Ma'am. She is the Starfleet Intelligence top computer analyst and encryption specialist. Codename: Cryptkeeper." Damion hit a few buttons on his console. "I worked with her during a mission and could use her assistance in something, but from my own intelligence I come to understand her entire office has become mobile?"
"My office is not to be abused for booty calls, Mister Wolfe." Ongaku-Chi said, in an annoyed tone of voice.
"That's not even the case, Ma'am. I'm calling in regards to intelligence. That is her field. I just want to ensure I get the best information regarding for my captain aboard the USS Calypso." Damion continued to give her the 'All Business' face. He never strained from his objective for one second. Of course, he wasn't going to tell her that he was interesting in just seeing how she was. Vanya was always like a little sister to him, even though she was older.
"Very well. Let's just say that I've had unusual requests, in her regard before." Ongaku-Chi noted. "As to pricing, I find myself curious as to what, specifically, you need to know, Mister Wolfe. And given the current classification of her posting, allow me to warn you of the following two thing. One, if you lie to me, I will find out. Two, you will greatly regret it for the remainder of what exists of your career. Just so we are clear."
"With all due respect, Ma'am. What's the point of lying to you, if your will find out? So... I have no reason to lie to you, and since I wont be lying to you, then there is no reason for you to act on your second threat." Damion gave her a quick smirk and then leaned back slightly. "I have no reason to lie to you, Admiral. This is simply a conversation for recon and intel. Nothing more."
"Yes, Mister Wolfe. However, there are specific... types... who think they can 'slip one past'." Ongaku-Chi said, with a slight frown. "So why do you need to contact this woman?"
Damion was beginning to think the Admiral was starting to get senile in her old age. So to throw her for a whirl, he cleared his throat and then wiped his eyes, acting like he was about to cry. "Alright, Admiral... you got it out of me." He held back a little and then sniffled. "I'm pregnant and its hers. I wanted to get a hold of her and make plans for it." Damion wiped his eyes again and started to sob. "I just don't want our child to grow up without a mother. I want to name her Dora. She will spend her life exploring the ship with a monkey with yellow boots and a map that is constantly lost and asking for help." He continued to fake cry again and then stopped, bursting out into laughter.
"Let's clarify, Mister Wolfe. I want to know the specific details regarding this issue. I want to know what you are looking for. Not only will I use... alternate... matters to collect information for you, I also require such details, considering you are trying to find a person who's position, and location are classified higher than my first name, and complete record." Admiral Ongaku-Chi stated. "Now, I've had quite enough of your evasive attitude, Mister Wolfe. You tell me what I need to know, to clear you access, or I will restrict you from harassing admirals in the future, restrict the amount of Starfleet Intelligence you can gain access to, and then have SF Internal Affairs audit anyone you've ever encountered, for extralegal activity."
Damion let out a sigh. Obviously there was some soft of miss communication between the two of them. He leaned back in his chair and then cleared his throat. "I would like you to authorize and transfer me to whatever ship or location Vanya Karolyi is working at so I can ask her to give me any information she has obtained or can fin on the USS Faraday. It's a ship on a specific mission that vanished without a trace. It our ships Executive Officer on board. Captain Samantha York of the Calypso, this ship, would like me to gather as much information on it and its mission to track its whereabouts and locate her XO. That is why I would like to be connected to Vanya, Ma'am. Is there anything else?"
"No. Transferring to encrypted channel." Ongaku-Chi said. The screen went dark, and then it transferred to Wolfe's target.
