Mission: The Race for the Lost Treasure
Location: Chief Science Officer's Office

Ronnie completed her reporton the away team and the planetary surveys and knocked on Dezzy's door to turn in her report.

The rap on Desiana's door drug her back from the reports she had lost herself in. "Come" She called simply as she watched to see who would enter.

"Hi," Ronnie said as she walked in. "I've finished my report on the away teams." She handed Dezzy the PADD.

Desiana smiled up at Ronnie as she approached her desk. She lifted her hand to retrieve the PADD from the Lieutenant. "Exciting read I hope?"

"That all depends on your point of view," Ronnie replied, grinning. "We found a plant that emits a natural dampening field. Causes problems with tricorders and combagdge. It's quite interesting. The Captain found a metal tablet and a small statue in some otherwise abandoned ruins and the shuttle team found some interesting underwater caverns."

Desiana raised an eyebrow at the information on the screen. "Do you know what effect the dampening field has on the transporter?" She continued reading over the report . She didn't give Ronnie much of a chance to answer before she continued, "I am guessing the away team will be using a shuttle...I think I am going to join them." She looked up at Ronnie, "What do you say?"

"I agree. A transporter would be problematic. You'd have to set up a transporter booster to make sure it works properly," Ronnie agreed. "I think you should definitely be on the next team. I'll be going as well. It sounds like fun."

"Underwater caves...lost treasure." Desiana started with a grin. "I wouldn't miss that for the world. Although being a linguist I will just be there for support."Although we might find something in need of translating.

"Why do I feel like a kid in a candy store?" Ronnie asked, grinning back. "Hey, we deserve a little fun. Is ther anything specific you'd like me to do?"


Desiana thought for a moment. "We need a botanist, a biologist, and a geologist." She looked back up at Ronnie with a smile. "Think you can find me some scientists?"

"Sure. Lizzie is a botanist. I'm an entomologist. I can get you a biologist and a geologist. I think Maria and Rick would be best," Ronnie said, making notes in a PADD.

"I knew I was going to like you." Desiana said with an appreciative grin. "Tell them to meet up in the shuttlebay."

"Will do." Ronnie gave Dezzy a respectful nod and headed to round up the others.
