Lumina sat down in a chair and waited. Hopefully, BIlbo would be able to bring the woman here. Hopefully he wouldn't let her get away. That would be ... unfortunate.

"How did all this corruption get started?" Marek asked hoping it will pass the time.

"Greed. A lust for power." Lumina shrugged. "Stupidity. I'm not sure. I wasn't involved at the time. My brother was. He died in the first round of illnesses. That's why I'm here. I read through his papers. Some small group got upset that they weren't getting what they wanted and made threats."

Bilbo brought Kyt out on a leash. She was chewing on it. "I'll kill you both. Slow and-" She stopped. "You aren't security."

"Engineering ma'am," Marek said and got to his feet slowly. He gestured to the leash hoping to that Bilbo will release her. "Lieutenant JG Marek Lovok, Assistant Chief Engineer."

Lumina rolled her eyes, not sure what to say. She eyed Kyt for a moment. "Will you behave it we remove the restraints?"

"Can I assault this guy, who keeps grabbing me in unexpected places first?" Kyt demanded, levelling a glare at Bilbo.

"Bilbo, what the hell are you doing?" The Third Assistant demanded. "What part of 'treat the prisoner well' did you NOT understand?"

"I treated her well. I tried to treat her real well." Bilbo said.

Wilsh scowled. He nodded to Kyt. "Just don't kill him. We need your help, and he's not helping our case."

It took seven seconds. Bilbo had the leash tied around his neck, and was unconscious on the floor.

Wilsh helped Kyt out of the leash, and gave Bilbo a kick, for good measure.

Kyt looked from Wilsh, to Lumina, and then to the Engineer.

"So, what the hell is going on here?" Kyt asked.

"Aren't you wanting... food? A shower?" Wilsh asked.

Kyt shrugged. "I assaulted someone. I'm good for a bit."

Marek simply watched in several conflicting emotions but knew he probably shouldn't intervene for if he was treated like his shipmate he would probably want the same chance to exact revenge.

"Please Lumina, tell us what is going on?" Marek said.

"With Bilbo? Not a clue," Lumina said. "I don't usually work here. I was sent to talk to Wilsh about ... a matter. He's the one you'd have to ask."

"We need to discuss the current government, with someone from the Starship, who can negotiate with us." Wilsh said, with a scowl.

Kyt chuckled. "Look, I'm not going to be very-"

"I'm not talking to you, ma'am." Wilsh said, looking to Marek. "Why do you think you were in solitary?"

"I'm a violent security officer." Kyt said, with a chuckle. "you're up, I guess."

Marek looked to Kyt though didn't know her name. "What is your name ma'am?" He asked.

"Tramira Kyt. Acting Chief of Security." Kyt said, with a nod.

"Nice to meet you," he checked Kyt's collar, "Lieutenant, though I'm sure it would have been better while we were back on the ship to say the least. Okay Bilbo, you better start explaining!" The Romulan was turning to face Bilbo but when he didn't see him immediately Marek looked around eventually to the floor and stared down at the man.

Bilbo was still unconscious. He said nothing.

Wilsh cleared his throat. "I believe Lumina is the diplomatic one."

"Oh," Marek said then looked at Lumina.

Lumina looked at Marek. "Would it be possible to go back to your ship with you and talk to your Captain?" She gave a meaningful glance at Bilbo. "Without him?"

"It is, I'll need my equipment." Marek said though chuckled when she glanced at Bilbo.

"It's over there," she replied, indicating a table against the far wall.

Marek nodded. "Thank you." He got to his feet and walked over to the table; he tapped the combadge. =^= Lovok to Calypso, =^= he announced.

"Calypso here."

=^= Three to beam up, me, Lieutenant Kyt and another woman. =^= Marek said, =^= I'll explain in the conference lounge. =^=
