Sam listened to her crew talk back and forth. Now that she knew her people were alive, a part of her could enjoy the banter. If only Damon were there... But he was still keeping to himself for the most part.

Serena fiddled around underneath the console hearing static sounds. Occasionally hearing a voice here and there. She would occasionally stated, "What about now?" to Daniels hoping he was getting something threw.

Daniels merely continued uttering some kind of curse.

The moment had come and they got a signal threw. She didn't move her posistion until Daniels was complete with his transaction and the ship got some sort of signal of were the shuttle was. She was slightly irritated on what had happen, wondering why things were such a difficulty. But she held true until the end.

[Elsewhere on the moon]

"Jackson to Calypso."

"Calypso here."

"Ensign Stran and Chief Petty Officer Jaymes are injured," Lizzie said. "Nothing life-threatening, but they need to be transported to the ship."

Sam turned to Tav. "Boost the power. Get transporters working and beam the two straight to sickbay."

"We're not all miracle workers," Ross retorted before getting to work. It took seconds to push the comms relay to it's full capacity, but sensors were still struggling with the interference. "I can give you coordinates at a push, the best we can do is a wide angle transport and hope we don't take too many trees. One shot, then no more transporters, judging by the jamming."

"If you aren't miracle workers, I believe we've been ripped off by Fleet Engineering." Kyt said, softly. "I was under the impression that this was a job requirement."

=^= I'm re-routing power from engines and weapons, =^= Mak reported from engineering. =^= To transporters, sensors and communications. =^=

Leo looked over at Erin and sighed. "They found us, I think," he said right before his combadge sparked and died. "And now they've lost us."

''Ohohoho no.'' Erin jabbed her own badge, which stayed stubbronly static.
''Well its looks like its the tent again for a few more nights at least.''

"Okay. One shot," Sam said. "Get the two injured and anyone else around them. Focus on humanoids. I'd hate to bring up half the forest."

"I better get to the transporter room then," Tav replied, already making a bee-line for the turbolift.

Within a few moments he was in transporter room one, beside the transporter chief, ready to go.

"Ready when you are captain," he reported into the comm.

Sam looked at the readings on her screen to make sure everything was good to make the attempt. "Beam them up as soon as you get a lock."

A lock? Tav pondered. "Chance will be a fine thing, wide angle transport commencing. Watch those biofilters Mak, anything that isn't human, send it back."

"Watch the language, eh? You're beaming a Vulcan up. Don't send him back." Kyt said overhearing, and thus, interrupting the conversation. "Glad it's not me beaming up." She added softly before the comms clicked off.

Anything that isn't human, send it back. Kyt thought, from her bridge station. Pah. Someone needs a refresher course on their physical combat training.

=^= You mean anything non-humanoid sir, I'll keep anything non-humanoid in the pattern buffer till the transport is complete then send whatever back. =^= Mak called from the engine room.

Sam held her breath as the transporters engaged. For a moment she got an overwhelming feeling of fear, then it was gone. As if they'd transported something they shouldn't have and beamed it back to the planet.

"York to Ross. What did you beam up by mistake?"

"Half the ground around me and Tal," Leo said looking around. "I think some of the river, the tent, and all of the equipment we had unpacked."

Erin raised her eyebrow. ''And people wonder why I mistrust the transporting technology.''

"Some of the local fauna," Tav admitted. "And some of the crew too Captain, I can send 'em right back if you like?"

"Keep the crew, return the fauna." It was a most enlightening experience, feeling the total panic. It was clearly panic, but not like anything Sam had encountered before. It would bear serious investigating.

First, she wanted to make sure the away team was healthy. Then she wanted to find out what was going on. Unfortunately, she wanted both of them now.

With a sigh, she got up and headed down to the transporter room.
