Doctor Leanne Bowen tend to her office, alone. She made Doctor Hart go to the Christmas party, because she felt like she has too much work to do. She doesn't have family here, so the party or the day of Christmas appears to be less of a spirit to her. It's not that she doesn't believe the religion, she just wasn't in the mood for it this year.

Someone walked briskly into her office and she looked up to see her nurse with a panic face.

"Is there something wrong?" Leanne said as she stood up from her chair.

"Two more people were brought in today with the same symptoms as Commander Sinclair. Neither is responding to treatment. We've tried everything in the database," Hel said.

"Oh, dear. I was hoping that it wouldn't come to that," Doctor Bowen said as she walked out of the office, assuming that her nurse is following her. "Let's get started with the assessment to make sure," she said as she picked up a medical tricorder and started the scans. "This one is Kaj Mikkola...vitals are not that great." She went over to the next biobed. "And this one is Shalie Montgomery...congestive heart failure...barely holding on. Okay, let's get the bed scans set up to do a full body workup."

After doing a workup on both patients, Leanne came to a final conclusion that their prognosis wasn't good and it has matched to Sinclair's situation. She knew that it has to be a bad virus lurking somewhere and it attacks those that are not human or half-human. She plans to share the information to Doctor Hart when he comes back from the Christmas party to see if the specialist on Earth has come up with a solution or a finding.

"There is nothing much we can do at this point. I would suggest monitoring them every 15 minutes unless there are changes in their condition. Good work, nurse."

"Yes, ma'am," Hel said with a nod before going to do what the doctor said.
