[USS Calypso - Lift]
"Lieutenant." James said as he stepped into the turbolift. He was still dressed in his outfit that he had worn to the holodeck. "Deck 12."
Morgan could sense his hostility towards her. She couldn't blame him. She was pretty mean to him in sickbay. She noticed his outfit and decided to maybe ease the tension that had build up in the lift when he entered. "Another spy novel?"
James nodded. "Yes." James didn't bother turning to look at her. He simply replied.
Morgan sighed. He was upset that's for sure. "Look...I'm sorry for what I said in the sickbay...I was under a lot of stress and I didn't know what I was thinking...."
"Don't worry about it." James responded. Once again he didn't bother looking at her.
She had never seen James act this way. However, she had never said anything as mean as she had done in sickbay to him. "I'm really sorry...is there anything I could do to make it up to you?"
James raised an eye brow slightly. She did say anything. He repeated her question to himself in his head making sure that she said anything.
"Within reason of course...." She just had to add that. She knew exactly how James thought and where his head out go if she left it at what it was. And she wasn't about to go in that direction with him. It wouldn't be good for their friendship nor their working relationship.
James thought about it for a moment. If she hadn't any within reason he would have jumped at the opportunity but now he had to change his mind. Plus, this was going to be way too much fun for him. He was upset of course but he couldn't say mad for long."I already said not to worry about it."
"James....please...I know you are upset with me." Morgan said.
The lift opened. James turned to look at her. "Really, Morgan. Don't worry about it." He said and waved as he stepped out of the lift and headed down the corridor.
Morgan watched him and sighed. She had messed up bad this time and it would take a lot to fix it. She knew it. The lift closed and continued on its way. At this point she just wanted to lay down in a bath and relax. It had been a long day.
