Ensign Simm's was hard at it, his assistant Peng had passed out hours before and was sprawled out on a lab table under a blanket... Tony had observed a glitch in a computer program while mapping an adjacent sector to Jupiter Station and had spent several hours getting it configured correctly. He was very disciplined about these maters and more than once heard of a ship taking damage due to improper charting. He was behind schedule as he planned to have several sectors mapped around Jupiter station before they left. If they returned it would make the trip safer and a lot quicker. he hadn't met anyone from Navigation yet but he had been sending them updates and receiving nice messages back, he knew it was making their jobs much easier with his lab doing the grunt work....
Crewman Peng had talked himself into a coma and had given out. Tony was enjoying having him as an assistant. Peng was a happy fellow who was very willing to learn the tasks at hand. Peng excelled at monitoring the sidescans and logging information into the computer. Tony was planning on teaching him how to set up the drones for deep space readings so he could run those programs when the Orion departed the Station.
He was finally done crosschecking the positions of Three asteroids that were quite large in the final sector and was confident he had them tracking at 100% Now on to the next sector...
