Sakura sat leaning back in her chair watching the screen with a bright smile on her face. It had taken some work on her part and some rather unique thinking on her behalf but she had finally been able to discover how the Coalition was able to get some much done without even sending one transmission. The truth was they weren't able to get it done without sending one transmission; they were actually talking a lot between bases, cities, and all over the Coalition territory.
Sakura was very stubborn and refused to believe that the Coalition was able to get so much done without sending one communication. It was an impossible task to accomplish. So under that assumption she began looking for ways that the Coalition could have been able to communicate with each other without alerting anyone.
It took some digging but deeper she got the picture became clearer. Coalition had been able to build some type of transmitter that would hide their transmissions so deep that if you weren't looking for them with great detail that you wouldn't be able to detect them. The instruments had to be tuned just right in order to find them.
It was brilliant but Coalition had made one great mistake. At least Sakura thought that they did. They had gone to a complete communications silence at least that is what it looked like on the surface. So, this would naturally get a lot of attention because in such a situation as this one...one would believe that there would be a lot of chatter going back and forth but not in the instance of the Coalition.
Maybe, if they had kept their regular transmissions going Sakura would have never gone in search of the hidden transmissions that lay in the background. It would have been a good way to hide them, but she was grateful for whoever made the decision to cut all of the chatter and simply use the secret way.
She was pleased that she was able to detect them now came even a bigger problem. This problem would take a lot longer to solve and she was worried that they were running out of time to solve it. The transmissions were coded and she had tried every known way to them to decode them and just hasn't been able to get anywhere with it.
Coalition had been able to make several technology advances that were significant. And at the moment were making their job a lot more difficult. Even if she hadn't been able to decode the transmissions she at least had some good news to report to Morgan.
She wanted to report this news in person so she got up from her seat and looked at the screen for a few more moments before heading out of the communications center. She was proud of herself for being able to detect the transmissions. She was pleased that she was right as well. A smile on her face and a PADD in her hand she stepped into the lift and headed for Morgan's office.
