"How you feeling, now?" Leanne asked as she approached her patient's biobed.

Sitting upright on the biobed, Barbara smiled. "A lot better. What a virus..."

"I know. The herbs has helped you since the antiviral medications weren't doing much. You look much better and your vitals are all normal. I'm going to discharge you, so you can return to quarters. Give it about 24 hours before coming back to duty."

"Yes, ma'am." She removed herself from the biobed and picked up a robe to put on. After she got everything together, she looked at Doctor Bowen. "Thanks...I'll return to my quarters and rest."

"Alright. If you need anything, let me know." She gave her a small pat on her back. Just as she watched Barbara left through the doors, she groaned when she sees Doctor Hart walking in.

Jason gave a short smile as he walked over to Doctor Bowen. "I'm back from the trip to the planet and it was mostly on negotiations. Um, you have any assignment that I can do here...I didn't mean to use the EMH, ma'am."

She glared at him, "I suggest you do the labs today and fill our supplies."

What's with her attitude? "Having a bad day, boss?"

"Just go do the job, Ensign...I'm going to relax in my office with a cup of tea," she said with tiredness. Leanne didn't want him pestering her and she did felt like her body is worn down for some reason. The thought of that virus is contagious made her cringed. She ordered her tea inside her office and sat in her chair, feeling relieved. Her tea includes the caffeine that is known to give energy. Hopefully, it will boost her tiredness.

Doctor Hart went over to the laboratory area. He knew that something wasn't right, especially her looking worn down. She won't leave because I am under probation over that ridiculous EMH incident. How long is she going to stay here? Ten hours of a shift is a long time. Jason picked up the slides and discarded all of them, except for one that had Barbara Tarango's name on it. "Nurse Tarango", he said quietly.

He pulled out the PADD, sat on the lab stool, and read over the symptoms and treatment done on the nurse. She treated her with herbs? Ok, so...the ship's medications weren't working. The laboratory technician is gone for the day..., he thought as he pulled the microscope towards him and puts in the slide on Nurse Tarango. He adjusted the dial on the machine as he put his eyes through the two lenses. He studied the slide and frowned as he remembered something. Similar to a coccus bacteria, but in a form of a virus. I've never seen the look of this one...unknown.

Jason removed himself from the stool, pulled out the slide and walked over to the other side to a monitor. He put in a memo to his old professor, who has a lot of knowledge about virology, and attached a copy of Nurse Tarango's infection to the memo. After the information was sent, he closed the monitor, knowing that it will take a few days before he gets a response from him.
