Hawkes stood in the door way of the new squad bay. These quarters were larger than on a traditional Galaxy Class.

"OK, Marines, listen up." Hawkes began.

"The platoon manning lists are on the notice board. You will notice that there will be 2 combined platoons. 2 & 3 platoons will be spendng the next couple of weeks in the Holodeck training together. You will learn how to work together as Assault Pioneers." Hawkes could hear the grumbling and chose to ignore it for now.

"1 Platoon, you will be our spearhead platoon. A Section will be trained in Shipborne Assault. B Section will be trained in Pilot Retrieval and Hostage Rescue. C Section will be equipped with MArgos and are our Airmobile section. These roles will be rotated throughout the sections."

"4 Platoon, you are our engineer support platoon. Anything not able to be handled within the job description of 2 or 3 platoon will be handled by you guys."

"The Surveillance and Target Aquisition roles will be handled on a company and platoon level. CPL McCarthy you are now attached to Coy HQ as my Number 2." With that, Hawkes and Bella walked backed to their quarters.
