The Contractors were putting on the final touches on Deck 2 and Sheridan wanted to be around to sign off on it. he had dropped Max off at school and returned to the ship and was greeted by Three very excited "Finish Engineers"

"Lieutenant Sheridan, we hope you will be pleased with some of the best designs in the Fleet." A rather large contractor waved his arms about, obviously proud of his teams work...

Johns office was first, larger than expected it had a grand window and desk area close to a small conference section with a table that seated Six. it's communications were outstanding and holoscreen of good size..A beverage replicator area as well, the artwork was of the first USS Orion and it's many pictures in Flight. Sheridan wasn't sure how much he would be using his Office but he could always lend it out to other Officers who needed quick Bridge access.

They moved on to the Operations officers office, it too was well done and quite spacious. A bit more contemporary but very functional, it was more in the line of a tactical planning space... They skipped his personal quarters as he and Max had already moved in and told the Engineers how happy they were with it. The Weapons storage vault was last, a good sized area which was currently un stocked was very functional and very clean.

A few other things such as variable lighting schemes and comfort control zones were explained to Sheridan, all these systems were maintained by the new environmental crewmen on the Orion whom Sheridan would be meeting later. Pleased with all that he had inspected he shook hands and passed a well done to the team. They all looked relived as they had 42 more Decks to go...
