[Corridor outside Sickbay]

Leanne left sickbay after she was satisfied that all the chaos has died down to nearly empty. She developed a small headache and figured that she needs to get some food in her stomach, after working a long day. The lounge is a good place to get something to eat, she thought as she headed towards the turbolift. Just then, her combadge went off. She touched the silver emblem on her left chest, "Doctor Bowen here..."

=^=Doctor Bowen, I need help...I'm having really bad stomachaches and I can't move...I'm in holodeck one.=^=

She heard the desperate voice of her co-worker, Doctor Hart. Earlier, he was in sickbay before she released him to his quarters and she remembered that he begged her to be released. What is he doing in the holodeck?

Before she reached the turbolift, she turned around to head back to sickbay to get her medi-kit. "Hang in there, I'll be right over...Bowen out."

[Holodeck]

As soon as the doors opened, she noted the beach and the person laying on it is Jason. She rushed over and bent down on her knees. She found him sweating and his hands were in a fist over his abdomen. He was without a shirt on, which allowed her to inspect the area. "Doctor Hart, I thought I told you that you need to be resting...why are you in the holodeck?"

He swallowed, keeping his pain-like face. "I...", he felt her hands palpating on his abdomen. "Well...I was fine earlier and needed to get out."

"I don't feel anything different here...where is the pain?" She pulled out the tricorder from her kit and opened it to start scanning. No shirt on...did he go swimming? She wondered as she still wasn't happy that he is in a holodeck.

"The pain is easing," he continued to keep the truth from his lips as he unclinched his fists. "It was here," he pointed to the middle part of his abdomen. Jason felt her attention on him and it was good feeling.

"My scan doesn't show anything wrong. Maybe indigestion?" Just then, her stomach growled.

Jason chuckled at the sound. He frowned at her, "Hungry?"

Leanne didn't find it funny as she put the tricorder away into the kit, "I was on my way to the lounge to get me something to eat when you called."

He swallowed. "Have dinner with me?"

"What? I sure wouldn't eat after having a stomachache if I were you. You didn't tell me a reason for being in the holodeck instead of your quarters," she wondered as she looked at the waves from the ocean, before she looked directly in his eyes. Did he set this up? she wasn't sure what to think.

He sat up and decided to tell her the half-truth, "I came here to create a nice environment to ask you to join me to eat here..."

Leanne stood up to put her fisted hands on her hips and shakes her head, "You didn't follow my orders...you didn't stay in your quarters, instead you came to the holodeck to have an adventure with dinner?" She noticed how handsome he is beginning to look without his shirt. Don't go there with that thought, Leanne. He disobeyed you.

He discovered her to be angry. She is cute when she is angry, Jason thought as he picked up his shirt and stood up. His steady gaze melded with hers as he looked down for she is seven inches shorter than him. "I like you...I just wanted to get to know you. I felt grateful that you saved my life and I wanted to do something in return." Hopefully, that would ease her anger.

She let out a sigh as she rubbed her forehead with one hand. His scans appear to be normal...maybe I should forget about it as he can take care of himself now.

"Got a headache?" He said as he put his shirt on. Jason walked around her to stand behind her, placing his hands on her shoulders to give her a massage.

Leanne was about to back away from him, but she felt a strange sensation as he touched her. It was like some kind of small electricity that jumped from his fingers to her shoulders. She dropped her hands and closed her eyes, feeling her muscles relaxing. She became dizzy, which she knew that her brain is giving off endorphins to block out stress. She doesn't know when was the last time that she felt like this. Maybe the time when someone spiked her drink with Vodka at a party. It was a graduation party from the Academy. When she was drunk, she had the dizzying effect...I didn't have a drink today, she told herself.

She opened her eyes when he stopped the massage, and she remained still as she looked at the ocean. Then, she found him in front of her with an intense stare.

"Feel better?"

"For my shoulders, yes..."

"Just relax," he said with a compassionate voice. "Computer, display the saved table and chairs."

Leanne looked over at the beach to see the table and two chairs appeared there. Seeing the bottle of champagne on the table, "I prefer not to have any drinks with alcohol in it...worse for my headache."

"I can change it to something that you prefer to drink...tea? Juice?" He walked over and pulled out a chair for her to sit.

Doctor Bowen wanted to back away and forget about this, but she was tired from working. And she didn't want to be rude as he was doing this to be grateful of saving his life. She does find it kinda odd as it seemed like she is going out on a date with her co-worker. No, this is not a date...more like a social gathering for friends. "Um, I'll take English tea with two grams of sugar," she answered him as she walked over to take a seat.

Jason ordered it as he sat down across from her. He pulled a napkin off the table and laid it across his lap. "What do you like to eat? I feel like having Italian..."

Just eat and leave, Leanne thought. She was mesmerized by his brown hair that was sorta wavy and a cute face. There was a masculine look to his face as if it is husky and strong. She looked at his lips and wonder what it would be like to kiss them... Leanne! Don't even go there, she told herself. "Um...yeah...well..."

Jason wondered about her stare, "Is there a problem?"

She looked down and blushed. "Italian is fine. Whatever you are having is fine."

As soon as Jason ordered the food, they both went started eating quietly.

Leanne broke the silence, "this is delicious...thanks for ordering Italian." She placed her napkin on the plate along with her fork. "I think I better leave," she said as she stood up. "I'm getting tired."

He immediately stood up. "Leaving suddenly? We haven't had a desert..."

"Another time, Jason."

He felt like she pierced his heart when she said his name. He approached her and leaned toward her.

Before she had a chance to think one extra thought, his mouth covered hers. The lips that she wondered about were warm and smooth, and they fit perfectly over hers. She relaxed and let him take the lead, enjoying the feel of him. He slowly pulled back. She felt a pleasure sensation all over her.

"Go get some rest and I will do the same," he smiled at her.

She returned the smile. "Thanks for dinner." She turned and froze. She wanted more of his kiss now, but this is too sudden for her. What was she thinking? Maybe she will ask him for company the next time... She headed for the door and left without looking back.
