Lizzie walked through the arboretum, checking to make sure everything was perfect. The new arboretum was open now and a number of crewmembers had stopped by to check it out.
Lizzie was particularly pleased that the space was large enough for people to feel they were alone in the woods - something she'd worked hard to achieve.

The irrigation system was working perfectly so far. The waterfall fed into a stream that meandered through the 'woods.' She'd even set it to 'rain' for a few hours every week - usually in late hours of gamma shift.

Commander York was in the arboertum, talking to someone. When she saw Lizzie she smiled and waved.

Once Lizzie's daily tour of the arboretum was over, she went back into her workroom. She'd recently acquired a large Alaskan husky she named "Princess." Princess was stretched out on a thick rug. She looked up, her tail thumping in greeting. Lizzie went to her and sat down on the rug, scratching the dog's head. "Hi, Princess. We're open for business and the place is packed. What do you think of that?" The dog's tail thumped again.

"When it officially gets dark out there, I'll take you for a walk, okay?" Princess' head and licked Lizzie's hand. "I know, girl. It's going to a lot of fun." She hugged the dog and grinned, pleased with the way things were going.
