Mission:
Transitions
Location: Main Engineering
Timeline: After "Sickbay Mishap"
Marek had returned to Main Engineering and hoped to see Chief Kalyka Meral there but she was no where to be found. He frowned and went to a nearby wall computer panel. "Computer locate Lieutenant Kalyka Meral." Marek ordered.
"Lieutenant Kalyka Meral is located on..." The computer told the Romulan where the Chief Engineer was in detail. Marek quickly informed the Assistant Chief that he was going to check in with the Chief and return later.

Marek spotted the Chief working and approached her. "Excuse me Lieutenant, I'm Ensign Marek Lovok. I'm reporting in."
Kalyka looked up at the Romulan above her. With spiky hair, he looked a little...odd. She had never seen a Romulan with spiky hair and it seemed a little strange. Nevertheless she stood up and took his orders. "I see you're coming from a very good posting, the New York. You come highly recommended too, that last mission must have been one helluva time."
"Thank you ma'am, yes you could say that." Marek said with a smile.
Kalyka glanced at him. "Have you gotten your quarters assignment from the quartermaster?"
Marek nodded. "I did chief," he smiled. "May I help you with anything here?"
Kalyka shut the panel. "Actually, I'm done here, but there are some isolinear chips that need to be replaced in the messhall. I'm heading to the computer core." She stood up. "Good to meet you, Lovok." She stood up and offered his hand. When he took it, she wrapped her thumb around his, the Bajoran form of a handshake. "I'll see you in engineering," she said with a smile as she walked off.
The Romulan nodded and watched her head off; he smiled at the fact that the meeting with his superior went pretty well. Marek made his way back to the engine room to collect some chips.
