Ted had had Elena make some Earth stews and Toras some different types of jerky. Then he looked at the different types of fruit they had to get rid of within the next week, and brought a couple out of each for Sam to look at. It was all ready for her to look at and maybe pick out. He tried to keep his face neutral as she walked in. No one was in the lounge, and no one had been all day except for Raine. "Commander." He kept his greeting short because he didn't trust his tongue right now.

"Yes, Mr. Turner?" Sam said, hoping to get this done quickly as she had to grab her backpack and join the away team in the shuttle bay.

Ted lifted an eyebrow. He didn't like her tone at all. Then again, she probably hadn't liked his. "Your food is ready. Jumbo Vulcan mollusk chowder, beef stew, Andorian redbat soup for the proteins along with brazil nuts, peanuts, cashews, and sunflower seeds and also some jerkies. Beef, turkey, Tarkalian wildebeest. For fruits and vegetables, Kaferian apples, moba fruit, cranberries, strawberries, carrots, celery, and Rada plums. The bread will stay fresh for up to one to two weeks. We have Makapa bread, honey wheat bread, and uttaberry bread that is almost like muffins. Then we got this." Ted brought out a small container and opened it. "Chocolate cake."

"Thank you. Are they ready to be loaded onto the shuttle?"

Ted nodded. "Yes, unless you want to wait for some strawberry cake."

"No. These are great. Thank you," Sam replied. "Have them sent to shuttle bay 1 and loaded on the firefly."

Sam turned to head back out the door. "I'm sorry to be in such a rush, but I only have an hour before the shuttle leaves, and there is still a lot to do. Thank you again," she said. Sam didn't want to seem rude, but she really was in a rush and there rally was a lot of last-minute details to take care of before the away mission. She smiled to two of the waiters and continued on her way.
