Mission: Food for the Gods
Location: Calypso Transporter Room

[CONTINUED]

[OLD]

The doors to the transporter room opened as Kela walked in. "Sorry I am late." She said quickly as she placed a small PADD down on the transporter console to adjust one of her boots. "I couldn't decide what to wear."

[NEW]

She smirked as she looked up, her long red hair pulled back, with a pair of bronze goggles on top of her forehead like a head band. She had on a brown leather top in three sections. Two were like shoulder pads which attached to her top, leaving her chest and cleavage exposed, attached with straps on either side. Her top had two small pouches on the lower right side and a bronze spider like design going on the left side. One each arm were brown leather gauntlets with mechanisms on the bottom and bronze design on the top which rested over her cut finger gloves. Kela also had on a frilled skirt which fell down to her upper knees, covering her laced stockings and a hidden holster which held a snub nosed revolver. Her boots were brown leather which went up to her lower knee and had a bronze heel and toe tip. To finish her outfit was a long brown coat which ended at her ankles. Strapped to her back was a long barreled repeater which a bronze finish and scope.

Kela took a moment to spin around slowly, holding her arms out a bit, as she did so. "Too much or off the mark?" She let out a slight giggle before adding. "One good thing around having my pageant queen as a former host, Bianca, my wardrobe has improved and my fashion sense isn't as bland as it used to be. It also means I am losing room in my closet and I tend to try on a few outfits before finally sticking to one."

"Wow," Ronnie said. "That's pretty amazing."

"Very attractive." Munich complemented, pronouncing his words carefully. "It should make you not seen as an outsider; pretty women are a mainstay most Males wish to keep around. It should give some cover to your actions." He look around. "Once we are on the surface be mindful of how you are noticed or lack of standing out. We should be fine at this point yet I side with caution."

She took the PADD from the console and walked over to Ronnie. "Lieutenant? Commander Wolfe asked me to give this to you. He said it was for your eyes only, which I am guessing, means private." Kela added a bit of a giggle before stopping. "I didn't read it. I promise."

"Thank you," Ronnie said, taking the PADD. She quickly looked it over.

On the PADD was a message from Damion which read:

Ronnie,

I'm sorry I couldn't join you, but I am still dealing with being a father for the first time and feel, one of us, should be with Elsa. I've taken a lot of risks, in my life, and now I can't help but want to pull away. Not only because of you, but because of her. I don't want you to think I am trying to tell you want to do. Far from it. I want this to be an easy mission, and wish you the best, but this ships track record leaves much to be desired and Elsa is now on this ship. Two people I love with all my heart are on this ship and I can't help but feel over protective. We can talk more about it when you get back. I just didn't want to leave things in a bad way and let you leave without knowing I love you.

Hurry Home,
Damion

"I love you, too," Ronnie whispered. She smiled at Kela. "Thank you." She closed the PADD and set it on the counter. "Please give this to Commander Wolfe please and tell him I said thank you."

She would do all she could to come back quickly.

"Great. Mission one accomplished." Kela replied with a smile as she nodded her head.

Ronnie smiled at Kela. "And now to accomplish mission two so we can come home."

"Dere is no time like the present." he moved to the Pad. "Time we get this started. If you ladies would be so kind?"

Ronnie followed the others onto the transporter pad.

Shan stepped up onto the pad with the others and glanced around at them all. What a hen party, she thought as she noticed that women had all been sent as representatives of the departments where there had been more than one candidate. Except for the Commander, the whole team was female. "So.... just for the record, are we using a cover story if we're asked? Because unless we have a better answer, we might get propositioned as escorts with our business manager," she said with a grin and a nod to Munich to indicate him as the manager.

"We will work out the details when we get down." Munich joked. "Maybe we are a traveling theater group?" He smiled in a sly way. "You do any tricks?"

Shan's grin turned positively sinful; oh she was going to enjoy relaying this conversation to Savar later. "Not ones that would discourage the escort story," she laughed.

"I have a few." Kela replied with a smile. "And I am not talking about the dirty kind... although I have some of those too." She winked playfuly at Shan before continuing. "One of my previous hosts was a Greck, notorious illusionist, not magician. There is a difference." Kela smirked, placing her hands on her hips. "Before his fall he was pretty famous for his illusions and... sleight of hand." She pulled out a small medallions and twirled it between her fingers until clasping it in her fist, in a showman like fashion, before blowing into her fist and opening it making it vanish. She gestured to Ronnie, with a smile, and said. "Look under your hat, My Lady."

Ronnie removed her hat and found the medallion.

"They loved that trick on Risa." Kela replied as she twirled the returned medallion between her fingers. "But they hated it in Vegas. Of course, it wasn't a medallion, but a pair of loaded dice."

"Very nice," Ronnie said.

"Not bad," Shan said with a half laugh. "Well, then, sticking with the theme... Let's get this show on the road." She looked to the transporter tech and raised her eyebrows in question to make sure he was ready as soon as Munich gave the word.

Ronnie nodded. "I think we'd be better off just saying we're visiting from a distant town. Keep it simple." She turned to Munich. "But you're the boss."

"Chief , engage transporter." Munich gave the order to place the Away Team to the surface.
