Sam was in her ready room when the computer informed her that they were 30 minutes from Vulcan. She finished her report and sent it to Starfleet Command, then walked onto the bridge. "Report."

Munich rose from his XO chair as was proper Military regulations that had been taught to him all his life practically on how to respect a superior Officer and a lady as well.

"Ve are on final approach." Munich reported in a more casual tone. "The drop to impulse was two minutes ago at the outer marker." He continued. "Communications has confirmed our approach vector and the ship is on course for an insertion in sixteen minutes und..." he glanced to the armiture display. "Twenty two seconds ma'am."

"Thank you, commander. Have communications inform the planet of our arrival and request permission to dock for repairs."

"Right away ma'am." He gave her a slight bow. "The Bridge is yours, Commodore." He said per proper transition before moving to the Communications station.

"Thank you, Commander Munich," Sam said, taking her seat. She scanned the readings and nodded.

She opened a ship-wide channel. "This is Commodore York. We'll arrive in 30 minutes. Shore Leave will begin as soon as the ship is secured."

"Inform Engineering we will no longer require the Warp Drive." Munich said to the Communication Officer. " ALso forward the navigational parameters to teh Helm."

"Have that for you in a Jiffy Gov'" the Officer began to his task.

The clicking of heels preceeded Spartacus out of the Turbo Lift; her uniform was pressed as today she took the option for black tights and the Leather boots that countoured to her legs ; made from the shed skin of a reptile that had the properties of molding to the 'next skin' that it was made for. She wore the long silver dangling Ear rings and a tennis bracelet on her left wrist. Her short hair was moussed to perfection as she came onto the bridge she moved like a model on a catwalk toewards The center chairs. Nodding to the Executive Officer she stood next to York.

*Samantha, could I request an extended leave for the duration of our stay?* Spartacus projected. *I do not get many chances to ... hone my skills with this heritage. I was not trained on Betazed nor Vulcan in depth. To have some meditation and other training in my empathy would help?* She continued. "I do not wish for Mr. Argon to think I am weak nor let him in on how I was trained so if you could see fit I will use Vacation Leave to aument my time but request to be left to my studies, you understand how 'personal' training can be of this type?*

Sam looked up at Teenah and smiled. "Of course. I don't think we'll need a counselor during shore leave." And if they did, Arnon was the Chief Counselor and could handle it. "As long as Doctor Barak is okay with it," she added. As the subject was personal to Teenah, Sam continued to speak to her telepathically.

Alex was finishing a report at her office desk computer, when she heard the news that the Calypso will arrive to Vulcan within minutes. Her daughter, walking in circles around the room, watching the floor while circling, wasn't exactly pleased to hear this.

"Mooom, I don't wanna go to Vulcan. It's so hot there and it's full of boring people.", Veronica looked at her mother with a sad face, "Like that Doctor T'Lass... she was soooo boring all the time.", she added, remembering one of her mom's colleagues from the Benecia.

"Don't be silly.", Alex said, with a tone only a parent or a dragon tamer could use with perfect and trained accuracy, "Vulcan is full of great cultural sites and it's perfect for a little recreation. Nice for a change after being confined among four walls for so long."

Veronica sighed, and with a shrug, she officially gave up. "At least I hope they have soccer fields...", she murmurred to herself.

Nurse softtouch gently rapped upon the door to the Office; the gloves he wore took effort to make a noise at all.

[Maybe you could visit a friendly home and pet their...] His hands making the signs for the universal translator to voice his words in a pleasent voice he had taken great lengths to make seem 'human.' "WHat the Vulcans have are Shelats, they resemble Earth Saber Toothed Togers with a very kind disposition. It would show many of your friends how brave you are." He smiled. "I have a friend on Vulcan who has one, maybe I could meet with you and your mother in a park to pet and play with him?"

Alex and Veronica turned around, as they noticed the nurse walking in, addressing the two of them. Nurse Jemner was definately an interesting person. The doctor have never met a Minaran before, and their whole way of communication and their culture based on telepathy instead of spoken word, kinda fascinated her.

"Saber toothed tiger?", Veronica looked up to the tall and definately very strange man, whom she's never met before, "I'm definately sure they have never even heard of soccer. Boooring."

[The Shelat is very old and dosile, he excersises in a park. It is an old friend my days in Diplomatic Corps for my planet. Sol'lock would enjoy having a child play with "Metasha"] The hands signed to transmit to her screen and out of ear shot of the little girl. [Michelle and I are going to a hot spring but I would be happy to make time for daughter to have fond memory for you?]

"That sounds like a great idea.", Alex smiled at her colleague. "Don't worry. Veronica loves to play the little I don't care about anything I'm so cynical I freeze water with my breath girl. But once she'll see that Sehlat, she'll drop her shields in a split second."

Softtouch smiled in that warm way that is a part of his being; among Jem's People expressions are the greatest way to communicate with other sentiant beings. He bent down closer to the girl's height to look her eye to eye. [Please forgive my bad manners.] He signed as the simulated voice of a slight tenor by the inflections, spoke for him. [I am Nurse Jemnar Softtouch, I used to be on what was called by humans 'the Graveyard shift' so my social skills are a bit lacking. It is good to meet you.] At the end of his signing he offered a gloved hand to shake.
