Mission: Shadow Dance
Location: Castle Throne Room

ON

King Keelan of Jenefra had sent a summons to the Calypso seeking a meeting with the Commodore and some of her staff. The message was cryptic in nature and seemed to indicate he was looking for more then just a simple progress report. The meeting was to be held in the Castle's throne room. As the time for the meet drew near, the throne room was prepared for the arrivals of it's guests.

Sam was not pleased with yet another meeting with King Keelan. There was something about him she didn't trust and he made her feel...edgy. But, while he had Tate and she had several mysteries to solve, Sam needed to humor him. But she wasn't going to go down unarmed. She sent messages to Lieutenant Wolfe and Ensign Spartacus to meet her in the transporter room.

The slight echo of heels preceeded Spartacus as she walked into the Transporter Room; she had on the usual Skirted uniform with the Teal highlights, ESHA had tailored the uniform as usual. SHe wore her dangling ear rings that had a nice sound to them as she moved , her choice of black hose since she was going off the ship today was added with the silver bracelete she had been given suddenly by Munich in passing to the transporter Room. It had taken her a couple of extra minutes to get 'geaqred up' for her going down, she was glad not to need a phaser as they are vulgar things.

"DIs vill come in handy should you need." Munich had told her. "Iz transporter enhancer through boost of comm lock."

Thank you Commander." Spartacus purred as it was in an attractive fashion as she had entered the Transporter Room. "Ensign Spartacus reporting as you wish Samantha." She gave a wink

Damion entered the transporter room with a difference attitude than most. He wasn't just going down there to protect the others, he was going down there to observe and collect as much intel as possible to make his plan perfect. Escape plans, guard routes, weapons capabilities, and even defensive systems. With all jotting back and forth his eyes would be doing through out the whole thing, it would be amazing if he manages to pay attention to what everyone was saying. As he stepped onto the pad, he check his phaser, but also remember he kept his type one phaser in his boot, collapsible blade at his hip, a knife hidden in his buckle, and another one holstered up his sleeve. He wasn't messing around.

"Thank you for coming with me," she told the two when they were all in the transporter room. I don't know why we've been asked to meet with the new King, but I want all of us to be on our guard."

Sam turned to the Transporter Chief. "Beam us down, but keep a lock on us in case of an emergency."

The transporter chief nodded. A moment later, the three materialized in the Throne Room.

Keelan sat upon the throne; the crown in place as this is an official meeting tey again with the Leader of the Federation delegation. The purple robes had finally been fitted properly, his Guards stood at the ready on the edge of the Throne PLatform and behind him facing the danger. AQt least the guards that were readily visible. The truth was that Keelan wanted to know a few things and the Federation seemed to be dragging their feet in the matter.

Sitting with his usual regal nature he had the advantage of looking down at the Federation representitives; this was suppose to be an easy application and acceptence yet the whole Princess and change of Monarchy had delayed the process.

Keelan was still not accustomed to how the Federation could just materialize anywhere and give no warning. It was disconcerting as well as a threat to his safety and any of his subjects should the Calypso decide they had reason to take aggressive actions.

Keelan watched as this was a different group; there was the Commodore with two new people, a green skinned woman; Orion from what Keelan had learned during the process of Federation application and the data he had accumulated. The Other man wore the colors of Security aboard teh ship if Keelan guessed well. A logical thing to bring a body guard.

"I thank yo Commadore for coming again on such short notice." Keelan said with the Diplomatic expression befitting the situation, good manners dictate he be such. "I see you have broght more of your crew this day?"

"I have," Sam replied. "Why did you call us back so precipitously?"

"There are some decisions to be made and I needed your input." Keelan said with a calm tone looking at the gathered representatives. "My people are wondering about the samples we sent back with you; the results will shed light upon the treatment of the woman from your crew." He sidwith care and kept the sly grin from emerging upon his face. "The woman suspected of Killing my predecessor, her fate is hanging while you take time filtering the evidence?"

Spartacus watched the man at the throne with some wariness; she had seen that type of expression before, the one of a man who was in control of his universe. The way this King presented himself, the way Samantha had replied showed he was not to be a man to ignore. Her friend was one of the more diplomatic people Teenah had met and for th man to have pushed Samantha this far was something to note. WHile her 'Heritage' picked up nothing she could still feel a chill that reminded her of the Damon of the Ferengi Cruiser. This King had 'business' with the crew and it was not going to be profitable to the Calypso from the subtleties in the King's mannerisms.

"We're analyzing the sample you gave us," Sam replied. "Both my Chief Medical Officer and Chief Science Officer have extracted the toxin and are looking into the origin. My doctor would like to do an autopsy on the body to make sure that was the cause of death and not something else." She was aware that this people did not understand all the intricacies of an autopsy, so she tried to explain. "In order to be sure of the true cause of death, the body itself must be analyzed. The King could have been killed in some other way and the toxin introduced into the blood sample you provided. An autopsy will determine that poisoning was the cause of death. Without that, we can only guess."
