"There was an intruder in my quarters waiting for me. When I got into bed, she violated me." Jennifer replied curling herself into a ball as she tried to hide as much skin as she could.
[NEW]
Drani felt for the woman. She looked down at her tricorder and noticed the elevated heart rate and blood pressure, which was normal for a woman in Tate's situation. "I'm sorry," she said quietly. "I know this is hard but I need to tell me if any penetration was involved." Even though Tate said 'She', there were some species that had reproductive organs of both males and females.
Tate shook her head indicating there had not been. "No doctor. She just touched me and kissed me. It was disgusting."
"I imagine it was." Closing her tricorder and placing it back into it's pouch, Drani was satified with the examination. She looked up at Hans. "Physically she's fine but she's emotionally traumatized, as expected."
"Vat would you suggest for da situation?" Munich askd.
She then looked at Tate again. "You should have someone stay with you until Security catches this person."
"No, no I need to find her. I'll go back to Intelligence with Jethro." Jennifer said as she tried to get up. It was clear the woman was suffering from severe exhaustion and now the trauma of whatever had happened.
"You can go stay with Jethro," Maria said, wondering where the man might be. "But you cannot be involved in the investigation. Let others take care of that. You need to recover first."
"No, I need to find her, before...before she. Before she wears the wrong dress to the party." Jennifer replied as her heavy eyelids attempted to close, her head nodded back, snapping forward as she caught herself and awoke once again.
"Is this why you did not wear a dress at all to the bridge?" Maria
asked.
"No." Jennifer said as she shook her head trying to stay awake. "She told me to run to the bridge. If I didn't comply she would kill someone and their blood would be on my hands. I ran as fast as I could. I've never felt so humiliated in my life. When Commodore York hears about this, she'll make cupcakes and relieve me of duty."
Maria looked at the doctor. "Do you want to take her or shall I?" she asked. It was obvious the woman needed sleep and quiet.
Drani stood and looked down at Tate. "You're in no shape to do anything, Commander. I'm placing you on light duty and restricting you to quarters for 24 hours." She looked at Maria. "I'll escort her." She knew Tate probably felt uncomfortable if not down right scared going back to her own quarters after the incident. "Come on, you can sleep in my quarters until Security finds this woman," she offered a hand to Tate.
"Bien," Maria nodded. "She will be better off with you, Lieutenant."
"Might I suggest replicating something appropriate to cover her before taking her out of the Ready Room, I do not think an Officer's jacket would be the best choice this is teh Captain's ready room, I think we can manage a robe?" Munich suggested. "I believe dat vould be the best choice. And if she can be made comfortable in her Offices it might help her rest as Intel is the duty station she held before coming to the Calypso and it is a more protected area dan regular quarters and can have someone with her."
"It would also give her an opportunity to work and not rest, which is what she needs. This isn't a debate," she said moving to the replicator and tapping in a few commands. A moment later, a jumpsuit materialized. "It doesn't have to be me who stays with her but should be with someone she trusts. As for the security of the quarters, post security outside her quarters and have an engineering enact a transporter inhibitor field," she handed Tate the jumpsuit.
"It vaz mearly a suggestion." Munich said. "You are the doctor und your vord final in this matter since our counselors are on da planet." He took a breath. "I will have OPS secure the transporter inhibitors where you feel she should be resting and Security post people outside the door." He made sure to be looking away from Tate. "I will give a lady her space adn be on the Bridge." With that Munich took leave of the group and back onto the bridge.
"She's...she's in the computer's." Jennifer murmured softly as her eyes once again fluttered open and shut.
Maria left Tate to the doctor and tapped her combadge. "Delgado to Intel. Commander Tate was attacked in her quarters. She says her attacker is in the computers."
"Acknowledged," came a female voice from Intel. "We'll look into it. Intel out."
Maria returned to Jennifer and the doctor. "If you don't need me for anything else, I will let you take care of the Commander and return to the bridge."
"Analyst....Hiding in......subroutines, cryptographic algorithms, delta-hex secret key...." Tate was beginning to slip in and out of consciousness more often now and her speech was hindered as such.
Maria quickly copied down what the Commander said so she could relay it to Intel. "Delta hex pattern?" she asked.
Jennifer tried to speak once more but exhaustion finally took over her as her eyes rolled back and her eyelids slid shut. All of her limbs went limp and her head slid to the side as she fell into a deep sleep.
