ON

Munich woke slowly as he had enough sleep to make up for the long shift on the bridge; he looked forward to having the Commodore back so he could just do standard shifts. He was just starting to stretch when he noted he was not alone, being careful he looked over to see the beautiful sleeping figure of Maria in the bed. She had seen to his getting the rest he did not admit he needed. Leaning over carefully he adjusted her covers to hopefully make her more comfortable then lightly kissed her before getting out of the bed to go and prepare a light breakfast for them.

The movement woke Maria and she sat up, surprised she'd fallen asleep. She checked the chronometer to make sure Hans slept long enough and then listened to see if she could hear where he was.

=^= Bridge to Munich.=^= The call came as he pad out to the living area; Munich hoped they did not wake Maria?

"Munich here." He replied.

=^= Sir, you wished to be notified when warp is restored.=^= The Engineering Department reports Warp Seven capability restored. =^=

"Make best Speed." Munich was relieved they had warp again. "Most direct route, I will be there shortly."

Despite what he wanted to do his Duty as the Commanding Officer came above all else. He went back to the bed and gave Maria another light peck on the cheek. "Maria, I have to go to the bridge. Mi casa es su casa." HE smiled. "I need to get a quick shower then I am out."

"Then I'll fix you something to eat while you shower," she said. "You aren't going back to the bridge without a good meal first."

"I am glad you are here." He said with a smile. "I will be only a few moments I promise." He winked. "Thanks for doing this, it is good to know you care."

"As if you didn't know by now." She waved a hand in the air. "Go, shower. I will prepare something."

Be right back." Munich made his way towards the shower.

When he returned, Maria had several breakfast tortillas with egg, cheese and sausage ready for him to grab.

Munich took the time to sit across from her and say a short grace over the food. "Thank you Maria." He took the first tortilla. "Please feel welcome to visit like this anytime you wish." He smiled before taking a bite.

Maria blushed. "Perhaps," she mumbled, focusing on her food.

"I had better get to the Bridge." Munich said with a smile. "I will see you when you are on shift."

"I'll be there in a few minutes," she said. "I need to clean up first."

Munich leaned over and ave her a quick kiss and a wink. "Take what you need and I will see you dere." He winked and headed for the doors.

Maria took her time cleaning and tidying the room, then she changed back into her uniform and headed for the bridge.

[[Bridge]]

Jennifer was covering the beta bridge shift as the Calypso continued to make it's way back to the planet. She had just been informed that warp had been restored and they could now reach warp seven. The shift had been long and uneventful, Tate even found herself dosing off at times. She hadn't really slept much as of late but her primary concern was the safe return of the Commodore.

Munich came onto the bridge; his uniform pressed to Military precision, a lighter spring on his step as sleep is NOT that over rated when it has been lost. Walking down the left side of the ramp he moved t Tate.

"Okay Number One." Munich said with a smile. "Go get some rest ." He nod. "Tank you for watching the bridge, time for some of your own relaxing, with the ship at warp we can do the standard flip shifts since there should not be too many more complications?"

Jennifer snickered as she rubbed her forehead which was beginning to ache. "Famous last words, Commander." she said rising from the chair heeding it to Commander Munich.

"Have a good rest." Munich wished her as he watched her leave. "Now a status report would be nice." he said as he went to sit in the Executive Officer's Chair but moved to the Command Chair as it was a symbol of hsi taking charge. "Navigational Charting Munich One, I want to make an approach that will mask us."

Maria made her way to the science station to continue scanning the area.

The doors opened and Yui wandered through yawning, a large mug of coffee in her hand. "I got told to come and fly something..." she yawned as she made her way over towards the helm.

"It is called a starship by definition Yui." Munich said.

"I know that" Yui said sliding down into the helm chair. She began to plot a course back to the planet. A few seconds later she had it plotted and ready.
"Ready to engage at warp...." she yawned. "...Warp Seven on your command sir"

"Okay Yui... engage." Munich ordered.

The screen showed the ship jumping to warp as Munich sat ack in the Center chair; it did not feel right at the moment; he tried not to fidget while sitting there, he used the arm console to check the speed and course that they were taking.

"Operations, would you please get me a damage asssessment, I vould like to know how well the repairs are progressing?" He asked. "Knowing Vhat is Vorking Vould be nice."

"We have full power to navigation, life support and propulsion. Our offensive and defensive tactical systems are only operating at 65% efficiency. Most auxiliary systems are still offline as the EPS relays were fried after being hit by the beam. Engineering is on it but it will be some time before we are running at full capacity. I would expect another 16-24 hours at least." The young ensign at OPS reported.
