| General Overview | Yui is a very bubbly and cheery personality, however she can often be reffered to as "Ditzy" and can sometimes be a bit clueless when it comes to social situations. She isn't the brigthest of people but if she is forced to work then she can do some great things, such as when she nearly failed high school so her friends pushed her through and she got good grades! She is very loving and loves being around people. She has a personality which people often like having around and even though she is a bit ditzy people enjoy having fun with her. |

| Personal History | Yui was born in Izumi in Japan where she grew up being the oldest of two children. Her sister is a year younger than she is. Yui since she was a young child has always been a bit clueless and ditzy, but she is fascinated with the world around her. Throughout school she had to be pushed by her friends and family to pass her classes, mainly because she would forget to study! However once she did she had a good intelligence level and managed to pass with good grades. This got her through Elementary and Junior High. Everything chaged when she reached High School. During high school she started to take an interest in music and began learning the guitar and how to read music. She joined The Light Music Club and became really good friends with the club members. Afetr three years she was the lead guitarist in the club and they had played a few gigs in their school and local events. Afetr High School at the age of eighteen she followed her friends to Starleet Academy. She was shocked when she was accepted. Her other four friends all chose different departments and after the intial tests (Which they pushed her to pass) Yui discovered that she had a certain feel for piloting. She saw the controls of a starship much like a guitar and that helped her pilot. Through the academy she spent four years learning how to pilot starships and shuttles. She even got interested in how the engines worked. After four years she majored in flight control and minored in Engine Management and Engineering. She was shocked to be granted the rank of Ensign and assigned to the USS Lexington. Her first two years aboard the Lexington was a good time for Yui, she was a junior officer and often got to fly the night shift before handing over to her senior in the morning. At the age of 24 she was pleased when she was asked if she wanted to become the assistant chief (Due to the old assistant retiring after 35 years of service). She jumped at the opportunity and was given the rank of Lieutenant Juniro Grade. Yui spent the next year as the assistant chief of flight control before she was told that the USS Bennington needed a new chief of flight control. She knew it would be a challenge and determined to follow her father's foodsteps (He is a Commander aboard the USS Yamato) she accepted the transfer and transfered over to the USS Calypso. |
