[OLD]

Illise slowly sat up, assessing herself and taking the glass. The effects of whatever they had been given was quickly wearing off and she did not feel quiet so bad as she had a minute ago. She didn't appear to be injured, with the exception of a stinging in her right thigh. No doubt how they were drugged. "I'm alright, only my pride shows any signs of injury." she smirked, and then sipped at the water. Now that the fog was lifting Illise took a second look around the room. Teenah was right. "Ya, as far a cells go, this one isn't so bad." She drained her glass.

"At least they allowed us to remain in ur clothes." Spartacus smiled in a sly way nad wrikled her nose slightly. "Prisoner and Slave attire I gave up years ago." She tried to force a laugh. "I much prefer to make a good first impression if it is a male, my skin is changed but I still have my nature to fall back upon." She winked.

"Just don't do anything foolish," Sam said. "We'll come to morning prayers and see what we can learn. We'll find you."

"Do not risk yourselves... yet" Spartacus concentrated. "WE are being well cared for considering, they have fed us and lock in room rather than cell. Find what you can will join you later"

"The Calypso was knocked out of orbit by this god. I don't want to wait much longer. Find out what you can without endangering yourselves. And keep me informed."

Spartacus did not speak in more than the sending of warmth; amlost like an innocent emotion to Samantha, knowing her Commanding Officer 'might ' believe it.

Sam knew Teenah was up to something. Had no one ever told the woman that you couldn't lie to a Betazoid? Still, she knew that arguing would do no good, and so she let the conversation end.

Spartacus was not going to pace as that would give them the wrong impression; she just casually went to the bed and sat upon it using the pillow as a backrest. "Now we wait for their next move." Spartacus pointed out. "I do hope the feed us; seems a shame if they put us in a nice room and then give up cruudy room service, it might lower the rating as a tourist destination?" She was listening for the ambient auras that were floating freely about.

Illise chuckled. "Glad you're enjoying yourself." She felt her stomach rumble and was reminded that she hadn't eaten since yesterday afternoon. "Food would be nice." she admitted. Illise eyed the door, walls, even the ceiling. They hadn't been harmed or mistreated so far, but that didn't mean their captors ultimate intentions were good. They would wait, yes, but she most certainly didn't like it. "Perhaps we'll find out what is really going on here."

"I have been in much worst conditions and if this is a hint in how we will be treated I am sure we will find out what is going on; and if we are careful maybe we can play the frail little females hat males expect and avoid some of the physical stuff while we observe and note things?" She kept thinking of the brighter auras that were failntly able to be detected. "They do not give me evil feelings so far, just..." She thought. "no way trusting for sure."

Spartacus was aware of a change in the surface auras just soutside the walls, the people knew the two prisoners are awake and were fulttering about in response. It would not be along wait for sure.

"There's very little trust in here either, so I guess they have reason to be nervous." Illise got up from the bed and set the glass back on the table. She stretched to ease her sore muscles, especially where the dart had hit her, still casually looking around the room. It was well constructed. The walls seemed sound and the door was rather stout, evidence by the lack of sound coming from outside the room. One exit - the door. She wandered over to it and tried the latch. Not locked, but barred. Clever. A prisoner might be able to pick a lock, but there was nothing to be done about a bar on the other side of a thick door.

Not long afterward the door slide barring the door on the outside was scraping as the door ws made to open, two young women came through the door with trays of food and what smell like wine. The two guards were not coming past the door and seeing the women in their beds they watched but kept their hands rom their blades.

"Your food." The two women said in unison.

"We were waiting you to be awake." The girl near Hale said.

"The food we hope is to your liking?" The Spartacus attendant continuied.

"Thank you." Spartacus gracefully accepted the hearty fruit type breakfast.

"Yes, thank you." Illise followed suit, although her voice lacked the sincerity of Teenah's. She made no pretense of not watching the guards, but was careful to be as non-threatening about her scrutiny as possible. The one man simply stared back at her with an impassioned expression on his face, while the other watched the women delivering their food.

Illise put her tray on the table and picked up the pitcher, turning to one of the women. The guard followed her movements. "Could I bother you for more water?" she asked. The young woman hesitated for a moment, then nodded and took the pitcher. She stepped back from Illise towards the door.

The women left first before the two men backed out as well then slid the bolt into place.

"Those men would not have hesitated to harm us." Spartacus pointed out. " Right now we need to know what we are up against and who is pulling the strings." She smiled. "After all we are just two helpless females who got caught, keeping what we can do a secret and playing the passive card will do more than being irrational." She looked at Hale. "The first test is over; we act nice they play nice so far, at some point we will be questioned, we just have to wait for some answers then."
