Mission:
Of Gods and Men
Location: Holodeck Three
Timeline: Before Away Team Staff Meeting
Drani entered the holodeck dressed in a red sleeveless, backless satin dress that came a few inches above her knees in a diagonal cut. She wore her hair up , save for a few bangs, she let hang down.
The holodeck had been transformed into a Salsa Dance club in Spain on Earth.
Arnon entered just before the doors closed behind Victoria. He was dressed in a black shirt and pants, and black leather-soled shoes.
"I am ever amazed at how beautiful you are," he said. "You seem to get more so every time we meet."
Drani blushed. "Thank you. So, have you ever been Salsa dancing?" she asked as she walked next to him towards the club.
"Well, I ran through a lesson on the holodeck when you mentioned that you wanted to go salsa dancing, but beyond that, no," Arnon replied with a grin. "I learn quickly though. I don't think I'll send you sprawling to the floor or collide with you more than once...each."
Drani laughed as they entered the club. "I'll hold you to that.". She soon found a table and sat down with Arnon. A waiter soon approached the table.
"I'll have a pina colada," she ordered
"Agua de Valencia, please," Arnon said. He turned to Victoria. "So, you have been salsa dancing I presume."
"Yeah. I would go with friends when I was at the Academy during academic breaks."It allowed me to keep busy and my mind occupied. I like to keep sharp, so I do various dance routines during my off time. I mostly practice Ballet, Salsa, Waltz, and Orion Seduction dances."
Aaron raised an eyebrow in an imitation of his Vulcan cousins.
"Orion Seduction dances, hmm..." Arnon said with a smirk. "We'll have to revisit that subject in a more appropriate setting. How was your day?"
"It was good, thanks. Definitely a change of pace than what I'm used to," she replied as the waiter returned with their drinks.
Arnon accepted his drink and then held it out to Victoria.
"To good health, good friends, and close companions," he said. "Most of all, to the lovely lady I am sharing this toast with."
Drani smiled. "Thank you, and to the handsome gentleman." After taking a sip, she set her glass down. "So, shall we?" she asked, holding out her hand.
"Absolutely!" Arnon replied as he stood and took her hand. Together they walked out on to the dance floor and began to dance. As she passed close to him, Arnon breathed in her intoxicating scent. His hands caressed her skin lightly when they touched. He spun Victoria out and then in again and stole a kiss and went back to dancing.
Drani raised an eyebrow and smiled at the kiss. During the dance, she was impressed with Arnon's dance ability. "You're rather good for not having danced Salsa before," she commented as the second song came to an end.
"And you are, as advertised, a fabulous dancer," Arnon said. "You make it easy to cut loose with wild abandon. Another song? Or should we take a break?"
"If you're up to it," she laughed. She was happy Arnon was enjoying himself as they began dancing to another fast paced song. It had been too long since she had had this much fun. The thoughts of Starfleet betraying her and isolation were gone. She twirled and pressed her body against him, as she kissed him and twirled away.
Arnon was having fun. Though he seemed to be a bookish type, he was socialized to be very physical. He could feel the turbulent emotions that he secretly struggled to control easing and he moved. He loved spending time with Victoria. She was passionate and intelligent, graceful and beautiful. He savored her kiss and stole others as they danced, hoping he wasn't over doing it. Expressing affection physically came as naturally to a Rigelian as breathing.
"So, anything in mind?" she asked with a smile as they exited the dance club a few hours later, holding onto Arnon's arm.
Arnon grinned.
"Leading you off somewhere private and doing unspeakable things to you and with you comes to mind," he said. "But the night is young and this holographic world is our oyster...or however that human phrase goes. We could walk a while. We could change locations and go to Costa de la Sol and go for a moonlit walk on the beach, in keeping with our Spanish theme. If you're hungry, we could find a nice place and feed you, either in this location or near the beach or, well, just about anywhere...."
