"Alright. Let's go." Kela yelled as she nodded to Logan and Jayna before scattering with the team. "Phasers on stun."
Logan removed his phaser and looked to Jayna, giving her a nod. "Let's go. Lead the way to the rendezvous. I'll cover you."
That wasn't as encouraging as it should have been, but Jayna simply nodded. She pulled out her phaser, made sure it was on stun, and headed for the rendezvous. She just hoped they didn't run into anyone on the way.
[NEW]
Jayna used her tricorder to navigate the corridors of the Night Star and keep her from running into anyone. The last thing they needed was to get into a fight before they could rescue Damion and Ronnie.
"Just around this corner," Jayna said telepathically to Logan as she came to a stop. There were two people there. Hopefully the two they were looking for. Only one way to find out...
Jayna stepped around the corner. "Hi. I'm Mira Jayna and I'm here to rescue you. Well, me and my friend." She waited for Logan to make an appearance.
Damion quickly pulled a phaser rifle towards her and stared her down. He raised a brow and kept it trained on her as he stood between her and Ronnie. "Aren't you a little small for an evacuation team?"
As Logan turned the corner, he saw the rifle trained on Jayna and growled, baring his claws slightly. The sight of her in danger, whether Wolfe was being cautious or not, was still something that made his blood boil.
Wolfe raised a brow, easing his rifle down as he got a better look at the familiar Caitian. "What the hell? They sent you? Did the dwarf come with you or is he with Snow White?"
Logan growled softly as his claws retracted back into his paw like hands and he took in a deep breath as he saw the rifle being lowered. "He's back on the Horus. Monitoring." He paused slightly as he looked around a bit before focusing back to Damion and Ronnie. "You look like crap."
"You're not exactly a happy ball of sunshine yourself, Kitten. What's with the girl? I thought your team was a sausage only team?" Damion asked with a smirk as he lowered his completely.
"Excuse me?" Jayna said, not sure if she should be offended or just smack Wolfe.
The Large Caitian raised a brow and crossed his arms over his chest. "I thought you were smarter. Taking on Stryfe with only your girlfriend as back up?"
Damion looked over to Ronnie before looked back and clearing his throat a bit. "She's a work in progress." He smirked back and pointed behind them as an Andorian woman stood there with a sword in hand. "Besides. Who said I didn't have back up?"
"A what?" Ronnie folded her arms across her chest. This wasn't going as planned and right now she wanted to smack Damion for being such a jerk.
The Andorian woman nodded her head slightly as she lowered the sword and gave Jayna and Logan a quick glance. "Thy'las." She said softly before focusing towards Ronnie and Damion. "Now is the time to make a break for it, Wolfie, before everything goes to Hell."
"Easy does it, Blue. We aren't getting out of here without the Old Captain." Damion replied softly.
"It's a stupid move and you know it. You have the chance to leave. Go while you still-"
"It ends, Thy'las! Here! Now! I am not going back until Stryfe is where he needs to be." Damion shouted as he took a step towards her. "I won't let him get away with what he's done. To me. To you. To Ren."
Thy'las let out a slight sigh before taking a step to him as her antennae shifted downward at the thought of her dead brother. "You have a promise to keep, Wolfe. You can't keep your promise if you're dead."
"She's safe, Blue. Trust me. But she will be even safer once we get Stryfe out of the picture." Damion said as he placed his hand on her shoulder than on the side of her face. "You'll see her. Once this is all over."
"Not behind bars." She whispered. "Not like that."
Damion let out a sigh as he cleared his throat softly and continued. "It's taken care of, Thy'las. The only way I can make sure of it is by getting Stryfe where we need him."
Thy'las took in a deep breath before looking back to Damion with a slight smirk. "I have a hard time figuring out whether or not your stubbornness is considered smart or stupid."
He smiled in return, shrugging his shoulders a bit as he spoke. "A little from column A. A little from column B. I'm very complicated."
Thy'las looked over to Ronnie and smiled. "You have your work cut out for you."
Ronnie felt like she'd walked into the second act of a play. She knew the players, mostly, but had no idea what was going on. "Right."
She turned to Jayna. "I assume you're the person I've been talking to?"
Jayna nodded. "Yep. The sausage-free one. Come on, let's get you out of here before these two decide to see who can outdo the other."
Ronnie shook her head. "I'm not leaving without Damion. If he's going to stay and take out Stryfe, the least I can do is stay with him." Even if it meant she ended up acting as decoy.
"You heard the lady." Damion replied as he walked back to Ronnie's side and crossed his arms over his chest. "Stryfe goes first." He smirked a bit before be continued. "Besides. He knows on his best day he doesn't hold a candle to me. Ain't that right, Pussycat?"
