Alex smiled her beautiful smile as she walked down the corridor of Jupiter Station with the Ensign who carried her many bags.
"Are you sure it's not too much for you?" She said, still grinning.
"I'm sure." He replied, clearly attempting to hide the strain in his voice. He was definatly trying to impress her, but the only plus to carrying these bags was that he got to watch the young female officer walk in front of him. It was rare to see anyone so attractive.
The door to Alex's temporary quarters slid open, and she entered.
"Where should I put these?" The Ensign said.
"Just drop them anywhere." Alex said as she walked into the bathroom. She reached up and undid the ponytail, letting her hair fall gracefully over her gold trimed uniform. When she exited the bathroom, she noticed the Ensign still standing in the living room. "Is there anything else?"
"Uhm....no" He said nervously as he shifted his weight to his other foot. "Ma'am?...Do you have a boyfriend?"
Alex's eyes enlarged sudenly, then she turned her head to the side. "Uh....Not technically, no."
"Well, I was wondering if-"
=/\= Soto to Lieutenant Adyemon. =/\=
Alex didn't mean to show her relief at the interuption, but she quickly slamed down on her commbadge. "Adeyemon here."
=/\= I'm Ensign David Soto. I'll be your assistant chief engineer on the Orion. I'd like to have a word with you if you've got the time, ma'am. =/\=
"At the momment, I must report to Command. I'll set up a time with you later.
Adeyemon out." Alex turned nervously to the Ensign. Then she smiled. He was cute. "I'm not really looking for a relationship now, but I don't see a problem with lunch."
The man glowed. He was clearly exited. "How's tomorrow?"
"That's fine...I'm Alex."
"Johnny." He said
A small silence past between them, he spoke. "Weill I better get going." He turned and walked out of the door.
