Jayna lost no time tracking down Logan. This time she didn't care if he was with Remy. Actually, she hoped he was. She needed to tell both of them what she'd learned from Lancaster.

Remy and Logan were on the Horus. Both seemed to be hard at work. Logan's upper body was inside a panel, working on a few wiring issues. Remy was sitting at a console, going through information on Stryfe and the last reported crew list of the Night Star before they went off the grid.

She found them on the Horus, as expected. "Lancaster says that Wolfe never left the Night Star and the Caitian never returned from the Calypso," she stated bluntly, mostly to Logan.

"Ow!" Logan yelled before letting out a frustrated growl. He eased his head out of the panel and rubbed it as he looked to her. "Dammit. These things are far too small." He looked over to Spock as he stood up and wiped some of the dust from his clothes. "I'm gonna teach you how to use some of these tools so I can take a break."

Remy smirked slightly, his eyes still on the screen as he scrolled down the manifest. "You would miss it too much, Mister Logan. Besides, I recall you saying once that no one but you can work on your baby."

"Yeah yeah. I know what I said." Logan replied, looking over to Jayna with a smile. "What was that again?"

The little officer swung his chair around and faced Logan, letting out a bit of a sigh before he spoke, not giving Jayna a chance to answer Logans question. "I believe, Mister Logan, she said that Lancaster and Wolfe are still aboard the Night Star and the Caitian killer never returned."

"Makes sense." Logan replied, walking over to a console and bringing up a file of a scan he did only moments ago. "I was able to pull up some info from the buffer that was used and the signature doesn't match a Caitian. It doesn't match anything actually. It was a container of biomatter."

Remy raised a brow, looking over to Jayna. "I also have a name." He said as he turned his chair back to the console as he highlighted a name on the list and brought up the files. "Our Caitian is called Katiya, also known as Kayte. Expert in Security and Infiltration's. Trained in martial arts, weapons, and flight." He paused, bringing up a separate files on a different screen, the photo was of the same Caitian but younger. "It also appears, her criminal record was sealed. I took the liberty of calling in a favor with one of my contacts in Security to unseal it."

Logan raised a brow, walking a bit closer to where Remy sat in order to get a better look at what was on the screen. "How would Starfleet miss this?"

"Simple, Mister Logan. Stryfe. He took the liberty of calling in his own favors and having her record sealed in order to get her into the Night Star program. Seems he was trying to organize his crew with questionable people." Remy replied, his eyes still focused on the file. "Which begs the question, how questionable is Mister Wolfe in all this?"

"Well, the only way to find out is to catch the Caitian, match her DNA with that on the murder weapon, then bring Wolfe and Lancaster back," Jayna said. "And yes, I know that it also means Wolfe has to complete his mission first. But, once we catch the murderer, Stryfe may just cut and run, and that may cost Wolfe and Lancaster their chance to get back at all."

"Or their lives." Logan added, looking down to Remy as his short friend looked up toward him. "Look, Boss, I know you have your issues with Wolfe. I get it. He isn't all that fond of me either, but I don't think we can put him into the same category as Stryfe. I think, like most of these officers, they just got caught up in what Stryfe was selling and got in way too deep. Besides, Wolfe went back specifically to take them down."

"Or to rejoin, taking his love interest Scientist with him." Remy countered.

Jayna agreed with Logan. If they lost this opportunity, they could not only lose Stryfe, but probably Wolfe and Lancaster as well. "Lancaster took a big risk contacting us."

Logan rolled his eyes slightly, looking over to Jayna for a moment before looking back to Remy. "I've seen Lancaster's file. She isn't the type to get caught up in something like this willingly. And if she is helping us, and trying to clear Wolfe, than she can't be a part of this. You're reaching, Boss."

Jayna almost made a crack about Remy overcompensating, but kept quite. This wasn't the right time to goad her boss.

Remy turned back around to face the monitor. He leaned back in his chair and began to think to himself, going over what was said. Logan made a good point. Despite Remy's feelings for Officer Wolfe, he was someone who Max respected and fought for. He had a good record and the right people backing him up. "Perhaps you're right, Mister Logan. Then we should find this Caitian and question her. Maybe, we can get something out of her that will lead us to the Night Star's port of call and our officers. Suggestions?"

Logan smirked slightly, happy Remy changes his opinion on the matter without much of a fight, and walked over to his own console. "Horus?"

"Yes, Logan." The voice of the shuttles AI replied.

"Link your systems with the internal sensors. Relay a message to Op's to ensure they know it's you that's jacking in and bring up current locations of all Caitian Officers." Logan said as he tapped onto the console.
