Leroy had fallen asleep during the warp trip to the Calypso's last known coordinates. A transport had offered to pick him up, but Leroy Mangalia was nothing if not stubborn. A light nap had turned into a full on sleep, the ship having been put on auto-pilot. It was so peaceful in space, it was easier to fall asleep then it was on a ship or a starbase. And since starbases never moved, it was almost impossible to get to sleep on them. He had been told he was odd far too many times, it didn't bother him any more.

As he started to stir from his sleep, red lights began to flash, shoving any remnants of sleep away from Leroy's mind. Checking his consoles quickly, there was nothing wrong or in the vicinity. He was coming up on the last known coordinates of the Calypso. Pulling the shuttle out of warp, he started running checks to make sure she could jump back into warp if needed. Looking out into the dark cold wonder, he saw nothing. Like the Calypso wasn't even there.

"USS Calypso, USS Calypso. Please Respond when you receive. USS Calypso, This is your new Wing Pilot, Please respond."
