Ronnie, or rather, Wanda settled on 5 card draw and dealt the cards Jake handed her, then set the deck face down and turned over the top card.

She picked up her cards and looked them over critically.

Mordu lifted his hand and smirked as he looked down on it. His eyes slowly focused to Ronnie, Wanda, and tilted his head slightly as he watched her movements and facial expressions slowly. "So, Wanda." He scoffed slight, finding it still funny she was still insisting on being called that name. "Are you prepared to face Jake's past?"

"Of course," she said, her tone blithe. "Are you prepared to answer my questions?" She picked up a card and discarded a 2 of diamonds.

It had been too long. Ronnie paid attention, but she was too rusty and lost the first game. "Okay. What's your question?" she asked.

Mordu chuckled. "I'll make it easy this time. What is your real name?" He knew what it was, he just wanted to hear her admit it.

"Ronnie Lancaster," she said. "But you already suspected that."

"I did indeed. Still, it's nice to hear you admit it." He glanced at Damion. "So why not drop the pretense and tell me why you're here?"

Damion just folded his arms across his chest and glared.

Ronnie also lost the second hand. This was frustrated her. She had a pair of tens, that should have won, but Mordu had a pair of Queens.

"Second question," he said. "Did you know that your lover is here to meet up with HIS former paramour? How will you feel when you come face-to-face with the woman Damion really loves?"

All of Ronnie's doubts resurfaced. "That's a statement, not a question."

"The rules never said what TYPE of question," Mordu replied. "But your expression is answer enough." He smiled at Damion, his expression gloating. "Let's see if you can lose a third time."

"One more question like that, Mordu, and I will end the game my way." Damion slammed his hands onto the table, leaning forward towards Mordu, getting eye to eye with the weaselly man.

Mordu reacted quickly. He drew a Romulan disruptor from under the table and held it upwards towards Damion. Holding the tip under his chin. "Easy Wolfie. I've gotten quickly since the last time we danced."

"Don't I have a say in this?" Ronnie asked. "I'm the one playing the game, after all." Neither of them seemed to care what she had to say as neither responded to her comment.

"Unfortunately, you haven't grown in intelligence." Damion replied, his eyes getting far more distance and colder.

"I wouldn't say that." Mordu answered, a smirk on his face as his hand crept under the edge of his table. Suddenly, there was a click and the sleezy merchant removed a mask from under the table and over his mouth.

Gas began to fill the room from small vents hidden on the ceiling and walls. The monitors and light source suddenly turned off, encasing them in complete darkness giving Damion and Ronnie means of sight.

"Ronnie!" Damion called out, a cough slipping between his lips as he reached out to grab her but couldn't get a hold of her. "Cover... your... mouth." He managed to get out before he was thrown into a coughing fit and fell to the ground with a thud.

Ronnie closed her mouth and covered her nose with her hands, but it did no good. There was nothing save a gas mask or rebreather that would keep the gas from penetrating and she wasn't able to hold her breath long enough for the gas to dissipate. Her eyes began to water and then she, too, started to cough.

The coughing only lasted for a minute before she fell to the ground, unconscious.

Mordu laughed as he felt along the wall and found the switch for the gas. He practiced this routine a million times, just to make sure he got it right. He even made sure there was a clear path so he wouldnt get knocked over on the way there and lose the mask that kept him conscious.

As the gas began to get sucked back into the vents, Mordu lowered his mask and looked at the conscious bodies on the ground. He was surprised he was able to keep his thoughts away from his trap for so long. He thought for sure Damion would have picked up on something wrong and blow whatever chance he hand.

When the lights and monitors we back on he walked over and tapped on the console. He typed in ten words. The Big Bad Wolf is in bed. Ready for the Huntsman. With one more tap against the controls he sent to message and sat back down on is chair, slowly beginning to laugh.
