First thing in the morning, a message was sent to the crew of the USS Orion.

It came in the form of a text:

Hear ye, hear ye:
Be it known to all and sundry that you have been invited to the first annual Orion Fancy Dress Ball to celebrate the Terran holiday of 'Christmas.' (Other seasonal holidays will also be celebrated.)

Costumes are requested. Masks are optional.

Unmasking will occur at midnight.

The party will take place the day after tomorrow in the Orion Lounge.

All are welcome!

OOC: This will take place before the away mission. Feel free to do a JP about preparations for the party. I've started the party post as it will take a little time to allow everyone to join in.

This is to give us something to do while we get ready for the mission and to celebrate the holiday season. I hope you have fun!
