Sheridan sat back on the overstuffed couch in his Quarters. The ship was still and Max was sleeping soundly in his bed. It had been a very long day. He had covered Two shifts and several hours of playtime and schoolwork had to completed. John picked up his Padd and started reviewing reports, Several of the Plasma tunnels had been checked and serviced, Lighting had been restored to Three sections in the diplomatic area, The main array had been rechecked after minor control issues had arisen early in the shakedown. He read on and on. The Engineering department had been very busy the last few shifts. He read a message from a crew member about a fencing tournament the was rescheduled and another that had a death in the family…. As he got to the complaints area he really made efforts to answer as many personally as he could. Some were just beyond his expertise and were referred to the Department heads. Several crew were upset that it was hard to get messages out and had to be advised that Morale calls were a privilege as signals and Fleet messages took priority. Yeoman Finney had sent a ton of messages about shift changes and berthing assignments that were causing personnel conflicts with crew members, this was common on starships, not everyone got along in close confines. He approved all of the requests hoping to solve several conflicts in the future knowing it would place more stress on line supervisors working with a short crew roster. Last but not least he updated the ships log with the information and items that he changed. Several minutes later he was sleeping at the end of the sofa, Padd in hand.
