After the briefing, Ronnie wanted to go see Damion and find out what was going on. Granted he'd been kept away by Starfleet Medical since their arrival back at the Calypso, but now that he was released for duty, he seemed to be ... distant.

She walked into the main office and smiled at his secretary. "I'm here to see Damion."

Lora looked up from her PADD about what make up colors were in for the season on Betazed. She gave Ronnie a smile, recognizing her right away and then hit a console displaying Damion's schedule. "Umm.. He is in a call now Ronnie." She looked back up at her and smiled. "But, I remember Damion telling me that your always welcomed regardless of the call. So go right on in."

Ronnie smiled brightly, happy to know she was welcome. "Damion?" Ronnie asked, wondering what was going on this time.

She could hear Damion's voice coming from a separate room. The voices were faint and hard to make out.

=========Special Conference Room=============

"I would tell you to be careful with hacking into the Starfleet Intelligence Frequencies, but you would just feed me some lines about being that good you can't be caught." Damion replied, facing a Holographic image of a woman. "Your gonna pass along the message, V? Make sure my request gets carried out. To the letter?" The room itself was pretty empty. No items or furniture to sit on. There was just four dark colored walls and a holographic emitter that was programed to work like a holographic display. On the wall entering the room there was a console that programed the display.

Vixen wrapped her arms around Damion and hugged him again. "I'm just glad you're back safely." She looked up at him. "You are safe, right?"

He hugged the hologram. As much as he imagined that it was her, it still wasn't. It was the next best thing to being her. Damion let out a laugh and smiled as he pulled away from the hug, placing his hands on her hips. "As much safe as I am allowed to be, V."

"I'll accept that, for now, lover, but you still need to be more careful," she cautioned.

Ronnie stood in the doorway, watching the interaction. Another female? She looked around the room, noting the lack of decoration. Holographic? But who was this one, and why did Ronnie still feel like an outsider in his life?

Vixen noticed the new person and looked up at Damion. "Uh oh, you've got company again. Am I destined to be interrupted when I want to spend a few minutes with you?"

Damion looked over and saw Ronnie in the doorway. He smiled slightly, but then stopped as he realized where she was and who he was with. They had been in this situation once before, but this it it seemed a bit worse. "Ronnie?" He said softly, in almost a scared tone as he walked away from Vixen and then stopped. "You remember Vanya? Well of course, not like this anyway. Did Lora let you in again?"

"She told me you said I could come in any time," Ronnie reminded him. "It's not my fault I keep finding you in the arms of other women."

"I know." Damion gave a slight laugh and smiled. "I remember telling her you were always allowed in." He started to walk towards her and then stopped. "She's a hologram." He gestured to Vixen slightly, then looked back at Ronnie. "Not real, for the most part. I needed to talk to her about something and she ended up hacking into the Intelligence Frequency to use the holodisplay that I use for talking to the main office." His smile faded a bit as he was sounding and acting a bit nervous. "The hologram is something she is using on her ship now. She isn't allowed to give me details, but she uses this image to interact around her ship when they have unwelcomed guests. It's to maintain their cover."

"Do you want me to come back later?"

Damion shook his head and laughed softly. "Of course not? Why would you think that?" He asked as he walked over to her. "I would never turn you away, unless it was an emergency."

"Sounds like you're in trouble again, lover," Vixen chuckled. "This is my cure to depart. You still owe me dinner. Ta." With that, Vixen blinked out.

"No, but you'll avoid me. You won't make eye contact, you wont' talk to me and you do whatever you can to leave as soon as you see me coming," Ronnie said.

Damion looked over as Vixen faded away. He hoped she would do what he asked her to do as soon as she got the chance. As he heard Ronnie start, he turned to her and ran his hand through his hair. "Ronnie, It's not like that. I had to get drilled for hours about what happened and whether or not I let out Intelligence info that I shouldn't be letting out. They kept me under the knife for hours on end and all I wanted to do was go be with you."

"So why didn't you? When you were released? Why continue to avoid me?" she asked quietly.

"I had a lot on my mind afterwards. Between Starfleet Intel getting on my back and Starfleet Command making sure my head checked out, I needed time to myself to straighted things out." Damion replied as he let out a sigh, walking slowly towards her. "I was going to get a hold of you when things cleared out, but I needed time to come up with the words to tell you."

"And after everything over the past few weeks, you couldn't just say something?" she asked. He wanted to keep away from her, but he was eager enough to talk to Vanya. "Well, then. Thank you for the information. I'll let you get back to your work now." She made sure her tone was calm and professional. At least until she got out of the office.
