Location: Main Engineering
Timeline: Before "First day at engineering"

Rucinter walk out of the turbolift. He just reported to captain, so now he's on his way to the Main Engineering for meeting Lieutenant Adeyemon and start serving his first day aboard Orion. As he past by a few shipmates who had some urgent business and were in a hurry, Rucinter sees a familiar face in the crowded corridor. Yes, it was her, as he remembers from reading the ship's manifest. and it seems she noticed his starring, since now he is in her sight. Rucinter stopped, as well as Lt. Adeyemon, and said:

"Lieutenant Adeyemon, Ensign Glen Rucinter, reporting for duty, ma'am!"

Alex gave a gentle smile. Her perfectly white teeth showing past her full and shapely lips. "My new assistant chief if I'm correct? Welcome to the Orion."

"Thank you ma'am. I was on my way to engineering right now' Rucinter said, charmed by his superior officer's smile.

"Me too." She said casually. "Have you had a chance to familiarize yourself with the Orion's systems?"

"Oh, yes, I did. Orion is a beautiful ship" Rucinter said, thinking on how many times he used to simulate Galaxy class starship in holodeck, to get used to this kind of ships.

"She sure is. We are both very privileged to be working here." She called for the turbolift to Engineering as they stood there.
