State of the Mission

Hi, everyone!

Just so everyone's up to date on what's going on with the mission:

On the Holodeck:
The Black Pearl is in a safe harbor. Some of the crew have walked around the island to a sea port and are enjoying a break.

What's coming up?
We have a little character development going on right now. At some point soon, some of the crew will be arrested for piracy and taken to another location for trial. It will be up to the remainder of the crew to rescue them before they are hung.
Possibilities: Hot air balloons, recon drones that look like birds, etc.

The Borg virus will take a last stand in the holodeck matrix, so it will be the last to fall.

On the Calypso in general:
There are problems ship-wide. Jourdan has a few critical systems running on steam power while the ship goes through a complete reboot.
Power in science will be manually shut off. Sickbay will be on emergency generators, as will key places like 10 Forward and large gathering places.

What's coming up:
While ship's power is off, science will be shut down and the holodecks will have to be manually shut down.

Finally, the holodeck will be shut down and the virus eradicated. Then all power will be restored and we'll be back to normal.

Most of you have tagged in to one of the two story lines. A couple of you have not. If you're having trouble, send me a PM and I'll see what I can do to help you figure out how to fit in.

Side mission:
Damion Wolfe will pretend to kill Commander Vance, kidnap Ronnie and escape aboard Admiral Hunter's shuttle. This will allow Damion to play out a side mission for Intel. Right now, the only characters involved are Damion, Ronnie, Vance and Hunter.

Things have slowed down a bit of late. I hope you are all doing well and I look forward to seeing where this mission goes from here! You've all done a marvelous job so far!
