Mission Update

Hi, everyone!

October was a great month! I'm having a lot of fun with this mission. I hope you are, too!

I updated the mission notes so everyone can look at where we are right now.

Briefly, the Caly is running from Vance and the Borg Rhombus. They need to find a way to disable the other ship and rescue the XO.

On the planet we have two teams. The lower team has discovered ghostly creatures that exist in two dimensions at once. They are only partially aware of us.

The higher team (the one higher up in the caves) fought a nest of xenomorphs. Spider-like creatures full of Borg nanites that turn people into Infiltration Drones. (They look human but act Borg. Their purpose is to gather information for the collective and infect others).

What's coming up:

There's an underground facility under the sand where the Borg are experimenting. Most of the Columbia crew are Borg.

The Borg are suffering from a form of silicosis. The find silicon sand has affected their lungs and they have breathing problems. If we destroy the devices that superoxygenates the Rhombus and weaken the Borg.

We are going to have to disable the Borg facility or blow it up and then go after the Borg cube.

Ideas on how to get rid of the Borg and rescue teh captured crew are welcome because I don't have that part figured out. lol

The hope is that we will have a space battle with the Borg and several Federation starships, including the Caly, at the end of this mission.
