"Would you like to see what our investigation has lead to so far?" He said softly as he began to touch at his PaDD. Damion then put it down and slid it over as on the screen was the photos of the wounds and damage done to Leo taken by the Doctor. "That's what this investigation has lead to. One man severely injured and others on your planet dealing with this virus." His tone slightly raised as he slammed the table with his hands and then leaned in slightly. "You want to meet him? I can arrange it."

Lumina slid the PADD back. "Then why not talk to the people responsible? Governor Mik." She was fed up with both Damion and Ruka and their misguided attempts at finding the truth.
"That would be... unlikely," Leo said after typing his over ride code, the door opening. He was wearing full combat uniform, minus any of the gear, and a soft cap low over his eyes. He looked the perfect Marine. "Unfortunately, the mine that hit me, wasn't one that the current government uses." Nodding to the Intelligence personnel he smiled. "It was a design commonly used by quote freedom fighters the galaxy over. Would you like to try again?"
Stepping back, Leo looked at Damion. "I couldn't just sit back and watch this any more Lieutenant. Sorry."
Lumina glared at him. "I'm telling the truth. You're all so determined to excuse the joke of a government that you'll believe anything to protect them. Why?" Her eyes narrowed. "Are you in league with them? Are you the ones who supplied the virus that killed have the government?"
"The Federation doesn't deal with governments like the one that you're describing," Leo said, taking off his soft cap. "We don't bring in viruses, we don't cause chaos, we are the answer to it. You want to make allegations? I don't believe that the current government on your planet is infallible, but I know my explosives." Taking the padd, he brought up the information that his men had found on the type of mine. Sliding the device with a spin he stared at the woman. "No one but guerrilla fighters use this configuration. Since it's cheap, easy, and a filament trip wire can detonate it, causing massive damage." Staring the woman down, Leo wanted to throttle the being. He brought himself under control, but just barely.
"Why jump to the conclusion that we're in collaboration with your government? If you've had dealings with others in the past that have done so, then I apologize. But we aren't about to do that."
"I don't know how you do things in your Federation, but you have no idea what goes on here. You're looking at my world through the eyes of your own sensibilities. Don't even presume that just because things work one way where you come from they'll automatically work that way here." She looked at the three, fed up with their attitudes and presumptions.
She turned and stormed towards the door. "Open this pahkley door," she said as she approached. Obediently, the door slid open.
"I only see what I've seen on the ground woman," Leo snarled. "You come here asking for help, but when we ask for a little information, then its a no go." He started following her, not sure what he was going to do. "You have to know more than you're letting on. If we had anything to arrest the current government, I'd already be back down on that mud ball, kicking in doors and taking people down. But when you can't or wont give us any information, how do you think we're going to get anywhere!"
Lumina turned on Leo. "I gave him my notebook with all the information I have." She waved her hand, indicating Damion. "But that's not enough for you idiots. You insist that I have to have more; that I'm hiding something. That I have to be responsible for whatever problems you've had. Do none of you listen? Do any of you have the brain cells it takes to rub two sticks together? Obviously not. It's a wonder you got as far as you did. There has to be someone around here who can actually think" With that she spun around and stormed down the corridor.
Leo watched her leave and shook his head. "I'm trying to help, but without any information given to me, I have nothing." Turning on his heel, Leo walked off. If she wasn't going to give him anything, then his ability to help was gone.
Ruka followed Lumina out and turned to Leo. "Have you considered the possibility that her group could have been set up by their current government to stop us from helping them?" She asked and didn't wait for a reply before running after Lumina.
Once she caught up she said. "Hey I do apologise for our behaviour, can I make it up to you with a visit to one of our holodecks? Once you have relaxed we can look into a plan of action to help give my fellow officers the information they need by meeting with other members of your resistance and conducting some intel-gathering missions. What do you say?" She smiled.
"Thanks for the offer, but I just want to go home. You guys are crazy."
