Mission:
The Forests of Mythraeli
Location: Mythraeli Forest
Timeline: Current
ON:
Serena was starting to get tired and dusk was breaking out. She looked back at Daniels and stated, "I think its time to find some shelter." Then she started to look around the area for a nice place to sleep for the night.
Daniels nodded. He looked about, unsure.
They walked a little bit further to the point they found a nice area were there small bushes and shrubs. Serena walked up to it and found that it was nice little spot for the both of them. She sat her satchal down and told Daniels to go find some wood to make a fire.
Daniels withdrew his knife, and cut out some of the shrubbery, to start the fire. A couple sticks, he picked up off the ground, and began rubbing the two together, waiting for friction to start the fire.
Seren pulled out the blankets and food supplies and laid them out. She asked Daniels, "Roast beef with patatos or Chicken Cassrole?"
"I have my vegan meal with me, but thank you." Daniels said with a nod.
She nodded her head and placed the food packet aside for Daniels and one for her self; then put the rest of the food away. Once the fire was going she handed Daniels some blankets and his dinner. "Here," she stated holding them infront of him, "Food and warmth. I think a good combination."
Daniels quirked an eyebrow, and contemplated saying a few things. Instead, he simply nodded.
Serena looked on the expression on his face, "What," she demanded.
"Oh, just in a weird mood. The whole romantic setting of being stuck on a beautiful planet with a beautiful woman isn't helping."
"O," groaned Seren at Daniels statment, "I hope your not like this the rest of are duration." Then she sat down on the other side of the fire, on her premade bed and opened her dinner and started eating it. The food was not to her liking, she hated rations but unless she wanted to go out in the woods to eat something, then she better keep her mouth shut. She sighed and grabbed LoLa and fed her some of her food. Her ferret seemed to like it more then she did.
Sitting LoLa down Seren grabbed her tricorder and started tinkering with it in hopes to fix it or get it to work some what.
Daniels nibbled at his carrots, and finally just drop-kicked his tricorder. "Stupid piece of crap with no reception."
Seren looked up from her tinkering and gave Daniels a weird look as he droped kicked his tricorder. "Problems," she asked in a sarcasitc tone.
"I thought that was an easy conclusion to draw. Where's a geek, or a techy, when you need one?" Daniels asked, staring at the tricorder now several meters away.
Serena looked at her fustrated officer and chuckled at him. She placed some more rashions in her mouth and continued on her mission to fix her's. As she tinkered at it, there was a few moments were she thought she fixed it and then she was sourly dispointed that it didn't work. She shook her head from it and put her tircorder aside before she turned into Daniels and throw hers as well. Finshing her food she turned to Daniels and stated, "So how are we going to do this?"
Daniels rose both his eyebrows. "Do which, now?"
Serena smiled and stated shaking her head for a second, "Tomarrow. Whats are game plan getting back to the shuttle pod. I want to know your ideas."
"I'm going to go with prayer, and a bit of luck." Daniels said.
She giggled a little at Daniels and then shook her head. "There is more then just bit of luck," she started, "Why so doubtfull. I'm use to camping, I even done a survival training as well a real one not no simulation. Its an adventure and we should have fun with it."
"Maybe I don't want to get found right now." Daniels said with a wink, and a laugh.
Serena shook her head and gave a small chuckle to his statment. "Well I guess I have to say I'm going to bed. I guess we'll figure things out in the morning," she stated grabbing LoLa and getting snuggled in her homemade bed. "Good night Daniels," she stated before she turned over and went to sleep. Before she went to sleep, she thought of what may happen while she was here with Daniels. If they would make it out of this and back on the ship. Thinking about such things caused Serena to drift off.
Daniels couldn't sleep. He sat in the front of his tent, watching the darkness. The shadows moving were kind of creepy. He sighed, and took a deep breath, before crawling in and crashing, setting his tricorder to proximity alarm scans.
