They had worked through Two watches to get ready for the launch, scans would begin as they moved One light year away from Jupiter station. At that point they were officially on their own. Peng had made great progress loading the programs needed to collect all stellar data as the ship moved past it. he had been very quiet the last few hours deep in concentration with his tasks. Tony was setting up another computer to encrypt all the large Anomaly data to the science department for there database. He had received several calls from them on the other end putting the final tweaks on the system.

Simms had not received a course yet from navigation yet but was sure he would soon after they departed, then he would be very busy on the visual plotter. It wouldn't be long now.
