ON

Samantha tapped her combadge. "York to McGraw. Can you meet me in my ready room at your earliest convenience?"

Randy slapped his commbadge, looking up from putting the last panel into place. "I will hed up there now." With that he stood and straightened his uniform, then headed for the bridge.

In a matter of minutes he was on the bridge, and was ushered straight into the Ready Room. "You rang ma'am?"

"Have a seat. I have a request for you and your fighters. We've lost contact with the away team. I'd like you to do an aerial survey of the planet. See if you can spot the shuttle or any of the crew."

Sitting down, he took in what she was saying. "I can do it, just need to know how quickly you need it done so I can assign more or less fighters as needed."

"As soon as possible. I need to know if something has happened to them or if it's our own systems that are faulty."

Randall nodded. "I can have all our birds in the air in ten minutes. That going to be soon enough?"

One side of Sam's mouth quirked up humorously. "I think that will be fine." She handed him a PADD. "Here are the coordinates to where the shuttle landed. Check there first, then check the area. I want to know what's down there."

"I gotcha. Give me a twelve hours and I should have something for you. Anything else I should know?"

"Not at the moment," she said. "Get me the information as soon as you can." Hopefully they'd be able to spot the away team so she'd know what happened.

"On my way then." Randall moved out with a quickness. It was time to get some birds in the air.
