Asking for Assistance

Mission: Peace, or Something Like It
Location: Science Lab
Timeline: Soon after "Science Update"

Jerry was still standing in the Lab, and the moment the Captain left, he let out a sigh. He glanced at Lancaster and shook his head lightly. For some reason, the bravado was gone, but he still wasn't giving up. Not until he'd figured out what had shut off his abilities. "Get on that remodulator, beautiful. I'm going to call Ops, see about getting a Communications specialist down here to see about getting these damn things turned off."

Ronnie was getting used to her new Chief. She nodded and continued working.

With that, he walked into his office and activated his terminal, opening a channel to the Operations officer. "Hello? Science to Operations, anybody home?"

Morgan raised an eye brow. She didn't recognize the voice. "No, not body is home." She responded with a grin on her face.

Jerry grinned back at her, leaning forwards just slightly. She was being fun, he'd play too. "Well, that's a real shame. Then again, for a beauty like you, I could see sharing my quarters with you as a home... but that's neither here nor there. But do you think you could arrange someone coming down here to the main Science Lab? We've hit a bit of a snag and I think we need a Comms specialist for the next step."

Morgan hadn't expected that kind of response from the Lieutenant. It was flattering. She smiled. "Well, I suppose for a charming gentlemen like you I can arrange for someone to make their way to the Science lab and assist you in your quest."

Jerry nodded and leaned back just a bit. "Well, that'd be lovely, 'cause we could really use the help up here. And when you get some free time, look me up. I'm on Deck 9, whenever you're lonely. It was lovely meeting you."

Morgan shook her head. "Good day Lieutenant." She smiled and went back to work.
