The snowmobile came to a stop along the road. Ghost cursed at it. He had forgotten to fuel up before leaving the last village and now he found himself 3 kilometers outside the next village without any gas. It was already starting to get dark outside and soon the temperature would fall below freezing. He got off the snowmobile. The village was right below him but the cliff was high. He could see it but there was no way for him to get down. He would have to walk along the road.

Ghost moved over to the edge looking down. In the distance he could see the research outpost. It was at least 10 kilometers away from the village but the high cliff gave him a perfect view of the outpost. He pulled out a pair of binoculars from his jacket pocket.

From his view point he could see the main gate. It was guarded by at least four guards. There were also guard towers at each corner of the outpost. The outpost itself had five buildings. As he was examining the surrounding of the outpost another snow mobile pulled up next to his.

"See anything interesting?" The voice asked when the hum of the engine stopped.

Ghost put brought down the binoculars from his face and turned around to face the person talking. He was greeted by a sight of a woman sitting on a black snowmobile. She was dressed in all white. If it wasn't for the snowmobile she would blend completely into the surrounding. She was Asian. If he had to guess he would say that she was from China. She was very pretty.

"I was actually hoping to find a way down the cliff. You see I ran out of gas." Ghost admitted. He felt foolish. So he smiled.

"That's a shame. I wouldn't recommend climbing down the cliff. It isn't very safe." The woman responded. She got off the snowmobile and approached him. "The best way is to use the road. The village is only a few kilometers out.' She added as she looked over the edge of the cliff.

Ghost looked down as well. "I think I will take your advice."

She looked up at him and smiled. "I haven't seen you around here before."

Ghost looked to her. "No, I'm not from around here. I am just visiting."

"Strange. We don't get many tourists out here at this time of the year."

"I am actually here on business. I am looking for a strange species of flower that has been reported to only grow in this part of the country." Ghost stated.

The women looked at him strangely. "You won't find any flowers out here at this time of the year. You should return in spring, the fields around here are covered in various types of flowers."

"The type of flower I am looking for only grows in the winter as strange as that might sound. I don't know if you have heard of it but it is called La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo"
"Oh, I see." The women said as she turned heading back to her snow mobile. "I think I know someone that might be able to tell you something about that particular flower you seek. Her name is Eve. She knows quite a bit about flowers." She sat down on the snow mobile and looked at him. "Come on, I will give you a ride into town."

Ghost smiled. It looked like he had the right person. "I would really appreciate that."

"Come on. Let's get going before it gets too dark." The woman said as she turned on her snowmobile.

Ghost wondered over to the snowmobile and took a seat behind her. He placed his hands around her waist and pressed his chest on her back.

She smiled leaning her head back. "No funny ideas now."

Ghost couldn't help but chuckle. "I would never dream of it."

The woman adjusted a little bit in her seat with a grin on her face than brought the snowmobile back on the road and headed down the hill towards the village.

"I'm Anastasia Novokoff."Anastasia said while she steered the snowmobile.

"It's nice to meet you Anastasia. I'm Dr. James Munro." Ghost responded. He used his real name. It didn't really matter much. It was a holo-novel after all.

"Doctor huh? I am impressed." Anastasia said.

"Yes, I study flowers as you might have guest." Ghost responded.

She smiled to herself. "Well, I would shake your hand doctor but my hands are a little busy at the moment."

"I understand, Anastasia. I would rather you keep both hands on the handles. I'm like to make it to the village in one piece."

"Don't worry, Dr. Munro. You are safe in my hands. I have been riding one of these since I was a little girl. We don't have cars out here. Everywhere we need to go we use one of these."

"I feel better already." James said with a smile. "So tell me, what is that you do around here?"

"I actually work at the research outpost you might have seen when we were on top of the hill." Anastasia answered.

"Oh really? And what exactly do you do there?" James asked.

"Research." She answered with a grin on her face.

"Touch..."

"I am actually just a research assistant to one of the teams at the outpost but it does pay the bills." Anastasia responded.
"What more can you ask for right?"

"Exactly. We will be in the village in a few moments. So just sit back and enjoy the rest of the ride Dr. Munro." Anastasia stated. She turned the handle a little bit and snow mobile began to pick up some more speed. It was a nice straight away so she could do that.

Don't worry Anastasia. I am enjoying it. Ghost thought to himself as he snuggled up a little closer to her for warm of course.
