Lt. Sheridan was out of the gym and changed early as first watch wasn't on duty yet, Max was of to spend the Day with Donna and Gordon Hatcher. They never had children and would steal Max away every chance they had,,, He left his quarters and headed for the bridge, as he walked by his office he saw Yeoman Finney at his desk piling up stacks of Paperwork. Mostly notes he had made by hand instead of by Padd... some things John would never adapt to...

He stepped in his office and grabbed a cup of coffee,"Morning Finney."

She saw him and stopped her tasks, "I think you should be hearing from the egress team this morning, had a malfunction of a few escape Pods last night..."

Sheridan took a quick sip, "That can't be good, I'll see whats going on and maybe I can sic Engineering on them."

Dana Smiled, "If you still need these strange scribblings I'll scan them into the system."

John looked through the pile on the desk, "Nah, just pitch um, all the real important stuff is locked away lost and confused up here." He pointed to his head...

I'll be making some rounds today seeing how things are going, call me if you need me and we'll fight those fires as they appear."

"Aye, Aye, Sir."

(MAIN BRIDGE)

Sheridan entered the bridge and nodded to the watch officer, "Good morning, Report Please."

The Ensign was a bit nervous as it was likely his first report on the ship...

"All systems are powered up as of 0400 hrs per schedule Sir, currently at 97%, Shields and Armor off. Weapons Off. maintaining current drift with Jupiter Station all hard docks are secure. At last count most of the crew are aboard the ship Sir."

Sheridan smiled at the Ensign, "Smartly done, good report. Please, stand at ease and tell me what you think of the Orion..."

"Fantastic Sir, this is my first ship Sir, so I really have nothing to compare it to, but I wouldn't be anyplace else in the galaxy."

"Great, well it's good to have you here, if you do have problems get with your Department head and they'll help you get it fixed."

Sheridan left the Bridge and headed for the closest crew dining area to sample some of the Orions culinary creations...
