Doctor Hart haven't the time to change his clothes after he received the call from Doctor Bowen to her office. He swallowed as he stood to attention in front of her desk. "Jason Hart reporting..."

Leanne looked up from her desk and frowned. She wondered why he is wearing sweat pants and a plain blue shirt. Then, she remembered that it is past the end of his shift, which he was not in sickbay at that time. She sat back in her chair, glared at him. "So, where were you?"

He swallowed, "I was down at the Rec room with a science officer as he had something to show me..."

"And you turned the EMH on to take over your duties?" Her eyebrows went up.

"Not exactly, ma'am."

"Well, you better explain your actions because we had a sick patient that was brought in by a crewmember...that doesn't need to be handled by an EMH."

He swallowed again and straighten a little of his back, "I took a break after O'Connor called me to look at the Rec room. I set the EMH to notify me if something emergency came up." At least I don't need to tell her that I was taking the rest of my shift on break.

Leanne leaned forward, placing her hands together on her desk as she kept herself together without being angry. She took a deep breath. "Doctor Hart, you are on probation for one week and you will be working with me, so I can observe your work habits. I will get another doctor to replace your shifts. Is that clear?"

"Yes, ma'am." At least I'm going to be working right next to her.

"You are dismissed."

Jason turned and grinned as he left her office, feeling in high spirits about the situation. He dreamed of what it is going to be like to work beside her. It will give him an opportunity to get to know her better.
