Barbara Tarango threw her crochet down on the bed and got up to stretch. She is tired of having some kind of flu. Why isn't the medicine working? She wondered as she changed clothes. "I'm getting hungry."

She left her quarters, heading to the turbolift. She stayed close to the wall to keep her balance, as she has been dizzy for awhile. As soon as she left the turbolift to the right deck, Barbara tried hard to not to look out-of-place, or otherwise, everybody would stare at her. Barbara took a deep breath and continued the path. Before she could make it to the door, she fell down and moaned.

Lizzie Jackson was walking down the corridor in the opposite direction when she saw the woman fall down. She ran over to her. "Can I help you? Are you okay? Do you need to go to sickbay?"

Barbara sneezed and looked up at the woman looking down at her. Her face felt like it was burning. She wasn't sure if it is fever or from embarrassment. She is somewhat lethargic and answered with a slurred speech, "I...yeah. I thin' so. Might-y hand...thanks." She took the lady's hand and slowly rised from the floor.

Lizzie helped her onto the turbolift and into sickbay. She hailed a nurse. "Excuse me. This woman needs some help."

Nurse Jaynes went over to her, to help with the other side. "Barbara! Are you okay? What happened here?" She pointed to a biobed, "let's get her on here." Seeing that she won't answer, she looked at the woman who brought her here, "you found her?"

"Yes. She'd collapsed in a corridor on deck 18. As she wasn't able to get herself to sickbay, I helped her," Lizzie said with a shrug.

After Barbara was placed on the biobed, Yvette pulled out the tricorder and started the scans. She looked at the woman while she was using the instrument. "Thank you for doing this. I didn't catch your name...?"

"Lizzie Jackson," she replied. "Is there anything else you need from me?"

"I think we can..."

Just then, an EMH appeared from thin air and walked over to the biobed, nearly pushing the nurse out of the way. He looked at Yvette up and down, "who are you?" He didn't wait for a response and immediately went into an emergency mode of doing scans on the patient.

"I guess there is my help," Yvette shrugged her shoulders as she glanced at Lizzie Jackson. She was not glad that the EMH was activated. Where is Doctor Hart? "Well, thank you for bringing her here."

"You're welcome," Lizzie said. "Good luck!" She paused long enough to wash her hands and left sickbay.

Yvette watched her leave and she turned to stare at the male EMH. "I'm nurse Jaynes...been a nurse for a few months here." From there, she jumped right in to work with an odd behavior of this EMH.
