Meeting the Chief Counselor

John had received word his Chief Counselor was checking in at the checkpoint, he contacted security and asked that the Counselor be sent to his office if she wasn't busy to report in. He straightened some things on his desk...

{Meanwhile...}

Erin had a busy couple of days: traveling, saying goodbye to old friend and colleagues. Things got more interesting when she rendezvous with the transport vessel to bring her to Jupiter Station. It was here she was supposed to met with a member of her new staff who was suppose to get her fully in-processed into the ship and to have a room ready for her. Needless to say, none of this was taken care of and most of her luggage failed to arrive with her. Erin let out a brief sigh and headed to the docking port where the USS Orion was parked at.

She finally made it to the hub where a young Ensign was waiting for her arrival.

"Are you Counselor Airey?"

Erin smiled and replied, "Yes, I am."

"You are ordered to see the XO who is waiting for you in his office. If you would like, I can escort you to him."

She shook her head and said that wouldn't be necessary. After that, the Ensign walk off to return to her duties.

{A few moments later...}

Sheridan was just finishing up for the shift and was planning on getting back to his quarters to Take Max out for dinner, he was walking past the check point...

Erin was walking away from the check point and caught the eye of a respectable family man with a warm heart. She thought to herself that this couldn't be the first officer because she hadn't had the time to get refreshed before meeting him.

"Lt. Sheridan, I was told that you wanted to met with me."

"Hi, welcome aboard!, how was your trip?"

"To be honest, Sir I feel a bit tired and a little overwhelmed", Erin said.

"Well I shall let you get to the ship and settled in your quarters then, we shall meet again soon." John was certain that she wasn't prepared for a meeting, he would catch up with the Counselor after she had some time to get settled.
